pfizer's new study on viagra and ed

pfizer's new study on viagra and ed

Hey guys,

could be interesting for those of you who suffer from ed. just read it in a science magazine. pfizer tested using viagra daily and not only before sex. 60 per cent of the patients were able to have intercourse without supplements after the treatment. They argue that it is probably because of better night erections after using viagra in the evening. In the group who used viagra only before sex only 10 per cent improved. In the group with a placebo the erections became worse.

Sprintman;

Daily use makes a lot of sense. I’ve been doing that for maybe two years. I read recently that Dr. Irwin Goldstein, the Boston ED expert has proposed daily use - 25 mg or so.

This tends to bring the nocturnal erection pattern back to center and these are even better (more prolonged) “exercise” than sexual erections.

I have been thinking about trying viagra myself. Besides getting a harder dick are there any side affects?

How much do you pay for it? I found a site that sells 25mg for $0.75 per pill 50mg for $1.50 per pill and 100mg for $2.94 per pill.

I just don’t want to fuck my self up some how by taking it. Considering I’m in good shape and my dick gets pretty hard as it is. But I wouldn’t mind a dick of steel!

Plus do you think it has helped out your PEing?

What are you gonna do? Sic your dogs on me? Or your bees? Or dogs with bees in their mouth so when they bark they shoot bees at me? I think Mr. Smithers picked me for my motivational skills. Everyone always says they have to work twice as hard when Im around! Its not easy to juggle a pregnant wife and a troubled child, but somehow I managed to squeeze in 8 hours of TV a day. Inititially, most get at least one of the following side effects: headache, stomach distress, facial flushing, stuffy nose, visual (focal) changes. These are dosage related in that, the higher the dose you take, the more negative side effect you tend to experience. Over time of use, the side effects tend to disappear.

I tried a generic type of sildenafil only once (not a whole lot happened) and decided to stay with the legit Pfizer Viagra which is very expensive. I pay about $8.50 for 100 mg tabs which I then split into 50 mg and 25 mg. But I have ED and would rather pay than deal with the ED.

As for it helping with my PE, I don’t have a sure aswer to that. I get pretty raging nocturnal erections and a lot of them. But I am also a pumper and that and the Viagra contribute. I also take L-arginine, which is yet another contributing factor to the nocturnal erections. Since the nocturnal erections are providing a great deal of newly oxygenated blood and often, they may well have helped with my gains.

PS: Nobody who doesn’t have ED should be taking Viagra in large doses; stay with 25 mg or even less. Also, nobody should take Viagra or its generics without first checking with his doctor to rule out any unknown heart condition. And any nitrate drug taken along with Viagra creates a potentially deadly combination.

pharmacology of sildenafil.

The headache, facial flushing and nasal stuffiness side effects mentioned are pretty accurate, and are associated with all drugs that cause vasodilitation. Addtionally, sildenafil rarely (meaning less than 1%) causes temporary blue-green color blindness.

Pfizer used to make 25, 50 and 100mg doses. Later, the 25mg dose was determined to not be able to exceed its own placebo effect, so Pfizer d/c’ed it and only mfrs. the 50 and 100mg. In other words, 25mg is considered a subtherapeutic/placebo dose.

If you want a little extra bang for your Viagra buck, take 800mg of cimetidine (Tagamet) with your pill. Both cimetidine and sildenafil compete as substrates for the same metabolic channel in the liver, called the P-450 cytochromes. Sildenafil is cleared exclusively by the hepatic route. When you have two substances competing for the same “drain”, they will back up like a clogged sink ,and blood levels of sildenafil increase significantly, to the tune of around 58%. Over the counter Tagamet/cimetidine comes in 200mg tablets, so you have to take four of them (this is okay.)

If you wish to read up on it further, look it up on viagra’s home site, I believe ,and look toward the end of the professional section monograph in the “drug interactions” section.

If you have any further questions regarding this or the pharmacology of any other drug, let me know.

Regards,

If you don’t like the side affects of Viagra I can recommend Cialis. It lasts a lot longer, but gives slight heartburn..But everyone is different..

>>but gives slight heartburn>>

so does viagra.

Check it out guys, no need to have a big dick if you ain't gonna use it!!

In general the side effects of Cialis are less than Viagra. I get no heartburn from Cialis, whereas I have to take Zantac with V. I still like both, but prefer C. in the long run - because it is a much longer run.

My experiences

I occasionally use generic viagra and cialis for recreational purposes. Fortunately, I haven’t experienced any of the expected side effects from either. To compare the two, I like the immediacy of the erection effect from viagra but the more longlasting residual effects of cialis.

Where would I get cialis? What is the price range?
