Thanks both but having dealt with Alibaba and having been scammed all 3 times I’ve tried my very best not to go to them any more. Even the free sample I was offered came with a $50 delivery charge which was supposedly seized by customs but I doubt was ever sent. This is the problem, they have a good excuse for not sending it, just have to say it was seized.

Thanks but I’m after the powder which works out a lot cheaper. I want the powder btw so I can make the spray which when placed under the tongue works faster and lasts longer as well as being more potent (or so I’ve heard). "Seized by customs" question could also be solved by getting the package sent via a trackable postal service. Track record should show where the package is at the moment.

Beware of various modifications of tadalafil, particularly the so called "intermediate" tadalafil. Intermediate is not even modified tadalafil. It is an intermediate raw material to synthesize the final product. It’s probably ineffective to consume as-is, and might possibly be poisonous.
Example:

On the other hand, amino tadalafil is OK as far as I know. Amino is a harmless minor modification to the original tadalafil just in order to alleviate some patent problems. I don’t know how potent it is though (guess it’s same as plain tadalafil).

No problem SoLong. Good list Temmuz, have you tried any yet? Xi’an Sgonek looks the best bet but every one of these only take western union or direct payment from bank/moneygram. This link shows that almost all that do this are fakes. Bank Indicate Fraud: Western Union, MoneyGram & Bank Wire Transfer – FraudsWatch.com It makes it difficult to trust these people. The prices arent bad but the delivery cost is so all in all you’re risking $100+ usually so its a lot to gamble for something with little chance of getting here. I actually lookws at alibaba for ingredients for trimix too, same risk. Shame one company doesnt do all the stuff needed and a few on here could share the risk and delivery cost.

Basil I haven’t tried any yet but soon I will have to. With trade assurance program, you don’t pay directly to the seller, instead you pay to alibaba’s account and upon your approval, alibaba passes your payment to the seller. So this scheme provides some sort of protection against fraud. My main problem is, how to test the received material. A test kit only reveals if it’s real tadalafil or not - it doesn’t say anything about purity. My plan is to bluff the sellers by asking if it’s okay to pay through alibaba (via trade assurance option) and then give them a hint that I’m willing to deny the payment if lab tests reveals <%80 purity. That may make them more reluctant to try me. By the way I won’t do any lab tests honestly - it’s just a bluff. Their response may also give me some hint about their business ways.

Shame that we must go to such extents just in order to get 10gr of decent tadalafil. Hey we’re not junkies!? :)

Since -as far as I know- sildenafil’s patent timed out in some countries but tadalafil’s patent still holds globally, one of my concerns is that they might be tempted to send sildenafil instead. (Though it’s way better than receiving starch or something)

As for which seller looks more promising, I have mixed ideas about Xi’an Sgonek:

1) They have multiple entries for the same product, which I understand as a gimmick, and which doesn’t get along with my view of honesty.
2) Their monthly production capacity is just 1 kg. I’m afraid they may be a very small business, which increases their fraud chances.

On the other hand, Xi’an Sgonek sells amino-tadalafil instad of plain tadalafil, which -while seemingly a minus- may be a plus for them, because this might free them from patent issues so they would have less incentive for fraud. I think the main incentive for fraud is the patent issues (not the production cost). So a plain tadalafil supplier may be tended to send -patent expired- sildenafil instead, but an amino-tadalafil supplier would have no reason to do the same.

Actually my favorite happens to be Zhengzhou Debao for their 5 years of alibaba gold membership and their 600kg/mo production capacity (so is their claim).

Anyway I’ll ask for quotation to all the suppliers in the list and hint them all about alibaba trade assurance option and my phony lab test by the way. And then make a final decision according to their response.

I nearly forgot one important criterium to ask: They must also accept to send via a cheap (<$20) and trackable postal service.

This is my plan of action fwiw.

Sounds like a good plan Temmuz, please keep me updated either on this thread or via PM. I honestly think the chances of getting postage for under 20 is unlikely though, none have offered delivery for under 40 yet for me from anywhere.

A note about shipping charges.

Here is sample bicycle mini tail light from China (aliexpress):

That is, the cost of surface shipping for them must be in the cents - not even a dollar. And even $5 for shipping 10 gr of tadalafil is a steep price. So, if a seller asks more than $5 for registered trackable air mail shipping, then only one scenario pops up in my mind - a scam.

Why? Even if you pay through trade assurance, then reject the trade and deny payment, they may (or may not?) keep the steep shipping price, which costed them probably under a dollar. I call it “shipping scam”. Any seller with more than $5 shipping cost for surface mail should automatically raise the scam warning alarm, I think.

To be on the safe grounds, it might be wise to include shipping in the “trade assured” total, that is, if you deny payment you should be able to get all your money back - not just the item price. I don’t know alibaba trade assurance details but this detail can be important.

Have to admit I have no ideas on this at all. If I knew of a safe way or even one I think would have over a 50% chance of me getting the item I’d give it a go but every time I get into this they offer only the options that seem to most to be for scams, ie western union etc. The last time I tried I had this back (below) which gives you an idea of why I’m very very wary
