Human relaxin works in….humans, so, if they chose some rats which were administered human relaxin and it worked the same way as the bovine relaxin, then it could mean bovine relaxin would work also on humans, right? :)

Or you’re saying that this type of hormone wouldn’t assist PE ?

You are asking a pure speculation, Alin. If can elongate ligaments in humans, maybe can elongate TA too, because TA and ligaments are somewhat similar. But similar doesn’t means they are the same. And we don’t know how this kind elongation happens, or I am missing something. And is so much costly that there isn’t a way to test this hypothesis, I think.

Yes, human relaxin, as the one found in the link posted by you has a very high price, but based on the study which compared human relaxin to porcine relaxin and found similar bio activity , I think we can get a lower price if we would buy porcine relaxin. :)

I couldn’t find an actual price quote on the CBL site until I followed your link. This is embarrassing but, I have absolutely no idea what that symbol after the numbers is. Does that stand for euro? Am I understanding this correctly = over two thousand dollars A MILLIGRAM?? That can’t be right can it ?? Good God that makes cocaine look like Koolaid.scratch that.STORE BRAND KOOLAID!! Ummm.aahhh.soooo PORCINE relaxin you say?? But seriously, if these peptides really are molecularly identical, across species, as the study implies, then the perceived availability problem was never really a problem at all, right? One more time though, PLEASE somebody hit me back. That didn’t REALLY say, over two thousand three hundred dollars a milligram, did it?

Yest that’s what it says.

WOW Kind of reminds me of that “South Park” episode where they discover the cure for AIDS.”millions and millions of dollars”.
