Sexual boost from Adderall

This was my finals week for college and I was periodically taking 30MG extended release Adderall to help me study and write papers and stuff. I noticed that my erections were not rock hard as usual but seemed more plumped and larger than normal. I also felt hornier than normal and my pleasure from sexual activity and threshold for orgasm were both much higher.

I was especially curious about this because a side effect of the medicine is decreased sexual desire and said nothing about these effects. I know Adderall boosts dopemine and seratonin levels and also I have read articles here about people having similar effects from anti-depressants. I was wondering if this is a common occurance and also what the relationship is between Adderall and sex drive. Thanks guys.

My penis does the complete opposite when on adderall and so does everyone else’s that I know takes it.

Taking stimulants during finals week. Cute (Im a math grad student so I do much the same, periodically). Considering that Adderall is a stimulant, overall bloodflow rate through the body is increased, as, of course, the heart rate is increased. This could have resulted in your slightly ‘plumper’ dick. However, because Adderall affects Dopamine, it would raise the activation theshold for sexual excitement thus reducing one’s libidinal drive.

caffeine is a stimulant that causes vasoconstriction, same for ephedrine and yohimbine. Just because it increases heart rate or blood pressure does not mean it improves blood flow, in fact, the effect is usually opposite. My advice is that if you like the effects of the drug, then use it in moderation. Just because it affects some people negatively doesn’t mean you should avoid it. The results it gave you should be the determining factor.

I have read that yohimbine is supposed to be a vasodilator.
I too think it could be a vasoconstrictor for the reason it makes my penis turtled after ejaculation.

Yohimbine itself may be a vasodilator at the tissue level, but it acts on the sympathetic nervous system, which has the effect of causing vasoconstriction. I suppose in low doses (preferably delivered directly to the tissue) you can minimize the vasoconstrictive properties and maximize is vasodilative properties.

Anyone get any ejaculation-delay effects from Adderall?

Already tried…Worst headaches i’ve ever had. I couldn’t do anything for a whole day and I felt absolutely terrible.

Adderal kills my appetite and decreases my flaccid hang.

I’ve taken adderal in the past. It has been the only thing that has delayed my ejaculation.

I’ve tried several different anti-depressants and none have worked to delay my ejaculation.

Adderal works for me.

When I take adderal it decreases my hang greatly. I thought I injured myself P.Eing but I noticed that it only happens when I take adderal. You know when you sick and your penis is smaller then it usually is, thats how it felt.

Ditto for me with Daytrana (same as adderal - patch form). I’ve been using it less because of PE actually.

I’ve only taken adderall once, about 100 mgs with a blunt of some good cannabis. I was high as a kite, but my dick was pathetic as hell. I prefer not to take any drug, legal or illegal, that results in impotence for me. I find it extremely depressing.
