superoxide dismutase

ok - here i go again in hopes that someone has some
idea and will share info —

is anyone familiar with SUPEROXIDE DISMUTASE? Supposedly
if use in conjunction with L-Arginine (which i do use) it makes for
some KILLER erections.

i have not noticed any real difference since beginning L-Arginine
“therapy” in either strength or duration of erection, and have used SOD in the past with out noticing any erectile affect.

i am interested if anyone has worked with this stuff …

also, in much of the literature i have read on it, injection seems to be the preferred manner of use … what does this say about the pills?

oh well - thanks for the “heads up” here …

ps - anyone got a “recipe” for rock hard erections on short notice with some staying power? … no viagra please - herbal or neutraceutical only.

Why no Viagra? It’s wonderful stuff even if you don’t have ED. It just adds a quality of hardness and staying power that even most young guys don’t have. Cialis is on the horizon which is a competitor for Viagra. I bought some from Thailand. It’s pretty neat too, and fewer if any side effects.

If you insist on herbal, then do some research on Yohimbe. It is the only herbal that has a real and noticeable effect. But you have to be careful with side effects, ie. racing heart, head ache. This can be controlled by starting with small doses and building up. It has some very interesting effects. It makes you harder, but it does something inside. I can feel a sensation deep inside that i can’t describe. The reason i know it’s really doing something is that when i take it my pre-cum flows like crazy and i cum more in general. Do lots of research before you take it.

I take it occasionally just for a different feel, but i would not want to use it regularly.

At first I had no luck with L-Arginine either, but after increasing the dose to 4 grams, I got a raging hard on.

thanks for the ‘heads up’ from both … i try to avoid yohimbe because i have had prostatitis before, and my md sez to not use it for that reason … i am using arginine in 2 - 1.5gm doses (am/pm) … shud it be a unitized dose closer to the ‘event’ or keep is spaced out over the day?

trying to avoid the viagra util the ‘bitter end’ … there are some others i will try first …

again thanks … keep the encouragement coming

shalom

(ps - still looking for info on SOD)

You really do need to find the “Shift” button on your keyboard. It’s difficult to read your posts.

Back to the subject, here’s a possible good tip for L-arginine users: Combine your L-a dose with the same amount of Maca. Maca is a natural substance (a radish-like plant) and is sold in capsule form, usually 500 mg. Large drugstores carry it as does GNC, but read the label to make sure there is no yohimbe in the mix.

Like L-a, it takes days to kick in (it took 6 days for me) but it has no negative side effects that I was able to find when I researched it. I suspect it does lower blood pressure just a bit, not dramatically.

Like L-a, take it on an empty stomach.

Is this because of some interaction with Maca and Yohimbe or your personal opinion of Yohimbe? I ask because I am about to try a new supplement that is very maca-heavy and was hoping to continue with yohimbe for fat loss purposes. I haven’t heard anything about the two disagreeing with eachother.

OK - I’ll start using caps (lol):
(1) Thanks for the info - it is all good & most useful. I am still trying to find the right combination of supplement and exercise to grow (sigh!), and any input is most welcome.

(2) KING - the yohimbe thing is strictly about me. I have not heard of negative interaction (most herbals “get along” as I have found) in these two supplements. I have to avoid yohimbe on my MD’s orders as I am one of those poor saps who react badly to it, and end up with a minor case of prostatitis or a pre-BPH affect. I can and have taken MACA and I have not noted any significant affect. However, I’ll try it in combo w/l-Arginine.

Keep the “good news” and encouragement coming. I am bound and determined to break the 6” barrier before June. and the 7” barrier by the end of the year (with corresponding girth growth)

I've taken Maca, it works for me.

I posted all about Maca and my experience with it at peforum.net. Basically, it does increase ejaculate amount and orgasm intensity in a major way. This is my personal experience, though. It may not be yours.
