Viramax

Viramax is a supplement containing various herbs such as yohimbe, miura purama(sp?) and various types of ginseng, as well as others. This supplement of course, creates more bloodflow to the genitals as do most penis enlargement pills. These are much less costly, and though i have never used the penis enlargement pills i can say these probably work as good. I noticed a huge difference in flaccid size hours after my jelqing session. A much fatter appearance. Just thought i’d let you guys in on something that might increase gains.

Hopefully it wasn’t meant to be derogatory but it certainly came off that way.

I think his message was that many of us here have tried the enlargement pills out there and most of not all of us have found that they really don’t work for erect gains.

I tried them for several months and although flaccid length increased some, it was temporary and like I said no erect gains.

Seems pretty similar to Male Response, which is a good combo pill and would be better if the took the yohimbe out of it. Do you use the yohimbe free variant of Viramax Burzam?

Here’s a discussion on it. I don’t find it too bad but its not something I can take all the time. Male Response at least suggests a regimen including breaks.

The problem is that the effects you are noticing might be in large part due to the yohimbe. Maybe someone who has a better take on supplements will chip in with better info.

The bad side:

The major identified alkaloid in yohimbe is yohimbine, a chemical that causes vasodilation, thereby lowering blood pressure. Yohimbine is also a prescription drug in the United States. Side effects are well recognized and may include central nervous system stimulation that causes anxiety attacks. At high doses, yohimbine is a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor. MAO inhibitors can cause serious adverse effects when taken concomitantly with tyramine-containing foods (e.g., liver, cheeses, red wine) or with over-the-counter (OTC) products containing phenylpropanolamine, such as nasal decongestants and diet aids. Individuals taking yohimbe should be warned to rigorously avoid these foods and OTC products because of the increased likelihood of adverse effects.

Yohimbe may induce excessive adrenal or sympathetic nerve stimulation, anxiety, panic attacks, high blood pressure, increased heart rate, irritability, headache, nausea, skin flushing, sweating, dizziness, frequent urination, water retention, rise in body temperature, and hyperactivity, weakness, paralysis, gastrointestinal problems, hallucinations, psychosis and even death.

The good side:

Yohimbe is one of the best performing herbal aphrodisiacs, and before the introduction of Viagra, it was the only substance approved by the FDA to treat erectile dysfunction. Yohimbe comes originally from South Africa and it is an extract from Yohimbe bark. Yohimbe became very popular due to its ability to increase libido, enhance erections in men and improve sexual performance.

Its a good tool to use on occasion but no very good for everyday use in my opinion. There are many quality levels of Yohimbe. If you plan on using this supplement, try to find one that is standardized, buy from a well known company and watch your intake.

I liked Viramax, It did make me a little horny and I did get a good flaccid hang. Sort of the same effect as horny goat weed. But I had to stop I get very high strung from Yohimbe and I would have trouble sleeping.

I am noticing the yohimbe gives me a massive headache in medium doses.
