Why doesnt viagra make me hard?

I dont know EXACTLY what viagra is supposed to do but my friends say its supposed to make you SUPER ROCK HARD and stay that way even after you cum. When i take it i get a normal erection as if im not on it and when i cum i go limp again. Im taking half of one 100mg pill at a time. Am i not taking enough? Are my testosterone levels too low? Any input on this subject would be helpful and APPRECIATED!!!!

PS I’m asking this because i have a lil over 8in bpel and 5.5eg BUT i can’t stay hard enough to use it. I cum after 5 minutes. And if i make myself “not cum” i just go limp inside her.I feel like its a big let down.. im fairly large and shes (she being whatever new girl im with) happy and excited to feel it but its a disappointment that i cum so fast and cant get her off. Is this a prescription you’re taking? There’s a lot more to the erection process than taking a little pill and waiting….(see the thread by Avocet on ejaculation etc.) Have you been to a urologist-if so what were his thoughts?

What I’m saying is that there are a number of factors both physiological and psychological that can have a profound effect on erectile qualityand function.

Viagra is pretty good stuff, but it doesn’t work for everyone. Sounds like you have a moderate reaction to the drug. You could always do a test and take 75 or even 100 mgs to see if your reaction is different. If not, Viagra is not for you. Try Cialis.

I second the ‘try cialis’ thing. Trying a higher dose isn’t out of the question either.

It’s a myth that Viagra wipes out your refractory period and this feature has never been advertised by Pfizer. Although there is a percentage of users who do stay hard after they cum, most go flaccid in the regular way though you might stay a bit fatter for awhile.

Viagra and food do not mix well. Food intake, even a small snack, can throw everything off. You’ll get best results if you’ve eaten nothing for 3 hrs. From my own personal experience Viagra by itself just didn’t ever work that good for me. Avocet is correct, food and viagra don’t mix well. I have found that for better results I take 2 20mg Cialis whenever I am expecting sexual activity and I can still eat dinner.

With Cialis there’s little to no interference with food. Different molecular structure in the Cialis. Different, yet, in Levitra, with yet another molecular structure.

I did that accidently for a time with the liquid variety before I realized I was overdosing at 30 mg. Made me so horny, esp. the morning after, that I couldn’t concentrate on my work.

Lets say (HYPOTHETICALLY) someone bought some viagra in TJ but it was still in the sealed container.. would this affect the results? I mean its still the same drug right?

Maybe. maybe not….My point was that if you bought some “natural” or herbal viagra or some such horseshit, you may not be getting the real thing.

If you used “self diagnoses”, then your reasoning/results may be flawed. Again, sometimes the problem may be purely psychological.

Your age, weight, physical condition all come into play.

Certainly viagra will work for most guys-in varying degrees-but it may not work for others. Cialis, Levitra, etc., are viable alternatives.

ED may have many causes and at the same time many soultions.

DO yourself a favor and find a competent urologist to rule out most problems

From a molecular standpoint or a hormonal one, these erectile drugs are not designed to affect libido, it is true.
