Ladies: Genitals shaving for men?

I’ve been in cycling and swimming for some years; though I had never shaved anything but my face, I did run a clipper over my entire body (including arms and legs).

Ten years ago, I had a vasectomy and the Dr said to show up with shaved balls; I just clipped and then shaved everything… It’s been that way ever since.

A couple years ago, my best buddy and I were trying to get our wives to wax, and they hinted that if WE did it, that it may "inspire" them … I went to a Brazilian wax studio that advertised they waxed men too and got it done; it was brutal!

I’ve heard "sugaring" is better, but after my first experience, I went back to shaving. I DO; however, use wax pads/strips on my perineal and but areas. The attached link is the version I buy.

I get my balls, dick, ass waxed once a month. The first time will be brutal, second time a little bit less, and then the third time is not bad. The thing is, shaving makes the hair even thicker so the first wax almost makes you bleed. But the more you wax, the thinner and slower the hair grows.

Everything gone for me honestly. I enjoy clean shaven.

I’d recommend laser hair removal. I’ve been doing it for a while on my junk and ass. Total of 8 treatments so far. It really works. Very smooth and clean.

Is it permanent? I have heard that hairs start growing again 10-15 years after.

I’m only 7or 8 treatments in and it’s been amazing. It can requite up to 12 for really thick hair. Not quite everything is gone and what’s left in sparse and grows slow. Not all hair is growing at the same time and only actively growing hair is killed. I shave only once a week and even then that’s only to catch the stragglers. And I plan on doing touch up treatments every 6 months or once a year or so once I’m completely done. Just to keep things perfect and catch anything that was missed. Even thinking about getting one of those at home ipl units for touch ups even though they aren’t really very strong. Supposedly they work.

That’s cool. I have heard from friends that those home units don’t really work or if they have a finite number of times you can use them. Apropos, are those procedures expensive?

By the time I’m done it will have been about 2-2.5k total. And thats for my pubes, shaft, balls, taint, crack, and ass cheeks. Its much cheaper than it used to be. And the place I go to let’s me pay per treatment. Some places want it all up front. Also you’d have to find a place that even treats men. Not everywhere does.

2-2.5k… I guess having hair down there isn’t that bad after all.

This has been over the span of a year. And I didn’t pay all up front. Only at each treatment. I also have really sensitive skin so not getting razor bumps or ingrown hairs anymore has been amazing.
