So take my advice, go on with your life right now, schedule an appointment with the doc, the night before make some points that you’d like to talk to him about, use TP to help you formulate ideas. But until then, relax dude. Anxiety is terrible. No point worrying about the issue until you are more sure. I’ve been in a similar boat, and only until I stopped dwelling on any possible issues (and that means staying away from TP for a bit, only coming on occasionally for info!), did things improve. Go read a book or something.

I understand what you are saying, but at the same time there have been a small number of posters who have complained about poor quality erections or ED and been to see a urologist, sometimes several and still not got a satisfactory diagnosis. Amateur diagnosis on the interent can make things worse, but in a sub culture, like the PE community, often it’s all people can rely on. I agree that’s it’s best to see a Dr and in this case a urologist first, but if that doesn’t solve the problem, which often seems to be the case, amateur diagnosis could actually be beneficial. I recently sent a friend to a urologist and told him to insist on a doppler test. The test showed he had a venous leak. I would never have done that if it wasn’t for this forum. And my friend had previously seen 2 urologists who both told him his problems were mental.

Some people with a condition sounding similar to yours did quite well with some exercises to stretch certain muscles. In fact it is just possible that you strained the muscles involved at the gym. The muscles I am thinking of are the piriformis and the iliopsoas group. There are youtube videos of exercises dealing with both these groups. I am not medically qualified in any way, but I am a self-taught masseur with may years experience.

From what I can tell, some people experience loss of erectile performance when these muscles are in spasm. Whether it is because the muscles press on nerves or constrict blood-flow (or both) I can not tell.

But you should await your diagnosis before trying a load of self-help. Still the info is out there. Don’t do anything drastic. Also, I can tell you this for a fact: The body can eventually heal itself of almost anything, especially if you are young. Some things take time. Some people with your condition have taken 18 months. However, for some of them, part of the waiting was due to them needing to find the right cure, with others it just gradually got better but very very slowly.

Be reassured, you will get better. For now my best advice would be to cut down on any gym work that works your core or legs - if you have a muscle in spasm, you will only be locking it up tighter. Your gym activity might actually be stopping you heal.

There are many many causes of ED, and we still don’t know if he has ED - actually, I’d say not, he just seems somewhat stressed. So, better speaking with a urologist before, and doing some exams if he think they are needed.

I’m not trying to diagnose anything or give him a scare. He said the symptoms, I said what it could be based on experience of other members who posted about it here. I don’t see the problem.

Besides, like joey999 said, there were people who visited more than one urologist without success. I myself have been to urologist (not related to PE) and got the “you’re imagining it” diagnosis. Saying that seems to be the trend among them.
