Advances in prostate cancer
Hi,
Reading our local local newspaper i found something about a new discovery about prostate cancer research.
After surfing the net for more information, i found this very interesting link:
It seems the researchers has found the mechanism involved in the prostate cancer metastasis. Its something related with a protein called RKIP that acts as a metastasis suppressor gene.
It is supposed that the RKIP is also involved in the angiogenesis mechanism.
Of course it has to pass a couple of years till a therapy is available…
Good news, i think.
