I’m here to tell ya that most ED that has its onset after age forty is ORGANIC not psychological. Before age forty you are right its mostly psychological.

I think that the “purveyors” provide a valuable product so they diserve to profit from it, companies exist to make a profit after all.

As to the side effects, you are right. Most have no side effects some have minor ones, some cannot tolerate them. All are diminishe or eliminated with time if the subject can tolerate them for a time.

The question is, do the purveyors indeed provide a product that works? If they do, and most don’t, I have no problem with their making a profit. I do have a major problem with snake-oil salesmen, of whom there are droves on the net now, preying on guys who what better/firmer erections.

I never meant to imply that one should not take Viagra. Oh contrare!!! I am not against anyone taking it, as long as they do understand the side effects. If it works, then by all means Take IT.
That is why I take some of my meds, is because they work and keep me a happy camper. And all around me happy campers.

Then you must be speaking of the supplement salesmen, enzyte, longitude etc. YEAH WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Right. Was not referring to proven drugs, rather to supplements, many of which are not worth the effort it takes to buy them, let alone the cost.

Some of you from the PEForum.net will recognize me. I wander over here occasionally and check in. When I saw this, it stunned me as I had just mentioned the same thing on PEForum.net.

Long story short, I am on Paxil and have been for 5 weeks now. I lost the big O from somewhere around day 4 until today actually. The difference? Last Sunday I started taking 120 mg of gingko biloba a day and I upped the dosage to two times a day yesterday. I read that on a Paxil message board at depressionforums.com (definately worth your time to check it out). It’s worth a shot man, best of luck.

I took dothiepin for a year and although it had no effect on my sex drive/erections etc. I did not feel that it really did any good. I now see a councillor to sort out the causes of depression and take a one a day dose of St Johns Wort. This plant derived medicine containing hypericum is said to be equally as efficacious as any prescribed drug for treating mild to moderate depression.

It is worth a try but discuss with your physician first as there are interactions with this drug and other medicines.
