I have heard that getting from a month to three months is the hardest part so don’t congratulate me yet. Feeling driven to accomplish this as I am seeing someone and I want to be able to get it up whenever and wherever.

I have developed what they call “PIED” which stands for “porn-induced erectile dysfunction” because of my then-frequent masturbation sessions up to three to five a day. It was bound to mess me up sooner or later and that time has come now. I can’t get boners unless I force myself to have one; I.e. By watching pornography while at the same time moving my penis around quite frantically. It also doesn’t help that I’m addicted to pornography, so it’s something I don’t see myself getting out of. But it helps that I am single and also a virgin, so it’s not like I get to use my dick anyway. I have been unable to not masturbate and not watch pornography for more than twenty-one days. And this was six years ago. I wish I could quit, but I can’t. Anyone saying pornography addiction isn’t real doesn’t know what he or she is talking about. Period.

You can quit’ and you should, have faith, there is always hope! If not consider therapy or a 12 step program. The addiction is totally real, but you can beat it.

I’ve personally been successful in helping guys overcome their PIED but it required a lot of time, effort, and encouragement. It can be done if you and a friend are willing to totally step out of your comfort zones. You’ve managed the first step. Admitting you have an addiction. Now you need to seek out help either professionally or pairing up with a buddy to help you through it and hold you accountable.

The problem with quitting porn and not touching yourself is if it requires you to stop PE.

When and if I take a decon break, I’ll probably quit the porn and touching for as long as I can. Hopefully the timing will be around golf season.

That would be a good place to start. Finding other hobbies like golfing is a great idea!

I don’t see why you would need to stop PE, or even masturbation to quit porn, just quit porn…

I would suggest maybe a 2 week break from touching yourself. Including not touching your morning wood! After the 2 weeks gradually work back in to your PE routine with light jelquing.
