Best lube for anal sex, using condoms?

Not meaning to gross anybody out here, but I wonder if anyone has suggestions for a good lube for use in anal sex - one that is condom friendly.

My experience so far with the water-based lubes is that they dry out. Some faster than others, but basically they all dry out.

Now in Googling on this subject, I’m reminded that there are silicone lubricants that supposedly do not dry out but are still safe to use with condoms. I’ve never actually tried one of those, and in fact where I live it’s probably illegal to sell them, buy them, or posess them. Don’t even mention actually using them. But does anyone here have experience using these silicone lubes?

Any other suggestions? Basically, I need to find a lube that provides maximum reduction of friction (as opposed to a “light” lubricant), that doesn’t dry out, and that’s safe to use with condoms.

I heard that Seymour Butts recommends Wett Lite. He uses it on all his shoots and there is always a ton of anal happening there. So, it sounds good. If not try the normal Wett line.

I prefer Astroglide. Very slippery. Also use Wet Tropical Fruit Flavored lubricant, girls like it. Both have a long wet time before starting to dry, both get wet again immediately with just a little water or spit (I like to keep a small squirt gun with water in it by the bunk for just this purpose - just one squirt every now and again works wonders with the lubes and it can be fun for other sex play too). It takes a long time for me to come, and I do indeed need a good lube for the anal work I so love. These are my staples, I have used them for years. I look forward to hearing about anything better this thread uncovers…

I like to use the water lube stuff (like the new KY liquid gel). I have heard that the silicon based ones do not dry out, especially when using toys.

I think I will go ahead and try one of the silicone lubes. In addition to ID Millenium, I’ve found references to Wet Platinum and Pjur Eros Bodyglide Gel. One of those should work.

Xeoph, a little Santorum is often a byproduct of anal sex. It’s usually no big deal. I don’t know about boy butts, but the women with whom I’ve had anal sex have always somehow been empty and clean. I agree with your assessment of “real butt love.” And indeed that works when your girl is an anal connoisseur, but for introduction it might not be enough. Any discomfort a girl feels in the beginning stages will put her off it for good (and a shame that would be). Later on, a little discomfort does not bother the girl as she has a full understanding of the pleasure involved - but at first they are more than a little apprehensive and so require copious lubrication I think…
