Caffeine and EQ

I’m having a tough time figuring out how much caffeine affects my EQ. I’ve been trying to cut back lately (used to drink A LOT of coffee) but I haven’t seen a corresponding increase in EQ or erection frequency.

Curious to hear stories from others who have dramatically (or even insignificantly) cut back on caffeine.


Start/April 2011: BPEL - 6.75" / NBPEL - 6.00" / BEG - 5.125 / Mid Shaft - 4.75 / Glans 4.5"

Current/August 8 2011: BPEL 7.25" / NBPEL - 6.375" / BEG - 5.625" / Mid Shaft - 5.00" / Glans - 4.875"

Goals: NBPEL - 8.25" / Mid Shaft EG - 6.00"

Whether my caffeine intake is up or down, it doesn’t seem to affect my EQ.

My EQ is usually an 8 or a 9, so it’s possible that it’s making a slight difference, but I’m just not noticing.

Have you noticed an increase in flaccid length? I was a coffee-holic for a long time 6+ mugs a day usually none after 1PM. On vacation I drink maybe 1-2 cups early. Last 2-3 years on vacation I noticed that less coffee gave me a much longer and plumper flaccid.

Beginning of this year I’ve cut down coffee to 1-2 mugs a day and none after 9AM. My EQ has always been excellent so nothing noticed there but the larger flaccid still occurs.

I have answered this question so many time here, and yet I always learn something new in the process. Caffiene works bybstimulatimg your adrenal system which explains the “fight or flight” feeling you get from large doses. This is both helpful and hurtful to the world of pe.

The helpful, in small doses caffeine stimulates a dopamine release in the brain which can help you stay awake yet relaxed. Perfect for sex! As a matter of fact I read a book about supplements where coffee drinkers in their 70s-80s reported more erections, however there was no report of who drank regular and who drank decaf. Caffeine is also being studied for it’s effects on energizing sperm in labs for invitro. Interesting!

The harmful, caffeine has a half life in most males of 6hrs which means 2 cups at 7 am will be equal to 1 cul at 1pm, then half a cup at 7pm. So watch out if sensitive or if having insomnia problems. Caffiene in large doses from 200-400mg stimulates the body to react at resting states as though it was extremely active. Racing heart, sweatig, cold hands, dialated pupils, and racing thoughts are not uncommon.

I’ve been taking notes and experimenting with this for a few months now. My advice is to cut back to on coffee slowly until you only need one cup(100mg or less). Then for the rest of the day, even when low carb dieting, take in other helpful energy enhancers like complex carbs, b12, and healthy fats.

I definitely take B complex supplements, eat a balanced diet, exercise, and get 8 hours of sleep whenever possible, but I still can’t seem to kick the need for caffeine!
