Circumcision in early 20's, a bad idea?

razorman : what kind of medical problem did you treat? I haven’t really had any problems with my foreskin at all, just thought I’d remove it to make it look better.

Has anyone gotten their frenulum removed, or know someone that has? Does it really make sex not pleasurable at all?

Earlier I didn’t have any problems at all with the foreskin,but after 2 very heavy loads of antibiotic I got a fungus problem and I scratched so heavy I killed my foreskin. SO alas it got to tight and it was impossible to have sex at all because it cracked, that’s why I got it removed. Took them almost 1 1/2 year to fix the problem tho ,meaning that’s about no sex under that period. Forgot to mention that the operation was performed in GTB on a private hospital.

I am 24 and had my frenulum removed 4 years ago. It broke when I was having anal sex and the scar tissue that grew afterwards was very sensitive and prone to wounding. I got a mild form of Premature Ejaculation for that. Also the foreskin was really thick and wasn’t keeping up with my PE so I had that removed as well. To be honest I’m very happy with the result. It’s much easier to keep it clean (in fact it requires no effort at all). I last much longer in bed and for what it counts all the girls I’ve been with were pleasantly surprised by me being circumcised (in Italy it’s not very common). One thing about the frenulum=clitoris comment: I thought that was the prostate.

This is only my opinion, though and you should really consider your options carefully.

I read an article a while back where they did a survey of women who had been with both cut and uncut guys, and the article concluded that the majority of the women said an uncut member actually feels different, and better during intercourse. Wish I could find the article today, I think I found it on google.

I just want to say that I finally went through with the surgery.
There was no circumcision, the only thing they did was to remove the whole frenulum. No skin attached to the glans now :)
Guess it looks kinda freaky now, with all the stitches and burn marks (!), but in two weeks I’ll be ready for some beaver hunting ;)
