Coitus Interruptus and ED

Coitus Interruptus and ED

Sorry for the dumb question. I think I already know the answer but I’d like to hear your opinion as well. Some days ago my girlfriend told his medic that we sometimes use coitus interruptus. He was disappointed because:

  1. It’s not an effective contraceptive method
  2. It hurts male and female sexuality
  3. It can make the man impotent 8-/

My understanding is that the first point is obvious, the second, to some extend, is right too, because with C.I. you can’t actually relax and fully enjoy the sex. But the last point …

Can coitus interruptus cause any type of ED? (actually he said “impotence”)

OK, sometimes it can be stressing (“OMG, I’m about to cum, I don’t have to …”), but I think he is over reacting. Am I right? Please explain that to me. Thanks a lot.

Coitus interruptus can only cause a form of phychological ED. If you get very hung up on when you are going to ejaculate, worrying always that you might make her pregnant, you might begin to lose your erections because your head, the top one, is in total command.

This is probably the stupidest form of birth control. 1) it is ineffective, 2) it denies you and her the pleasure of cumming inside her; her the potential of some great orgasms if you pull out just as she is getting “there” and 3) why would a bright person like you choose this very dicey method of putting off making babies?

So basically he was right. I mean psycological ED

1) yeah, I know.

2) yeah, you are very right.

3) well, sometimes you just don’t have condoms and get horny. I must specify that it is not my method of choice. Heck I don’t even think it qualifies as a method! We use it sometimes when condoms aren’t at hand. (we are both HIV tested).

Is it so bad?

Thanks for the feedback.

It’s so bad because it doesn’t work. You get excited. You start to cum but you aren’t out yet? Not to mention whatever you might ooze while you’re still inside her and before your orgasm.

Do yourselves a favor. Go to K-Mart and buy up a stock of condoms. They’re cheap there. Or ask her to consider with her doctor a female form of birth control that would be right for her. Sex lasts, how long for you two? Parenthood lasts a heck of a lot longer. :)

I like “interruptus” as a backup method — i.e., in combination with the pill. I’ve seen enough “missed pills” in my sexual lifetime that I’m more comfortable knowing I haven’t left any deposits inside her. For some reason I’ve never had a problem pulling out plenty early. I think it’s because, for me, orgasms inside a woman can actually be too intense, physically, for maximal pleasure, especially if I keep thrusting. So I don’t consider it anything like a sacrifice to pull out.

I’ve also had enough condoms slip off that I prefer to use “interruptus” in combination with condoms, as well, if the woman isn’t on hormonal BC.

You are right guys. I should take birth control more seriously.

Para,

one time I had a girl that used the pill. Sometimes we liked to finish outside, just before I cummed or a bit earlier to play a little. She liked me to cum inside but also occasional “shower”, and me too :) In such a situation is coitus interruptus bad (from an ED perspective)?
