For that girth, a magnum would feel most comfortable. Although you would still be able to use regulars, but they would be a bit tight. It’s all up to personal preference IMO.

You could do fine in an XL, imo. Less squeeze. Try ‘em out.

More girth ( not much ) in an XL. I haven’t time to look, but I think they say 15 percent larger overall.

Yea, the XL’s are just a tad wider. We have had threads that give the specifics in the past but I don’t remember which ones they are.

Maybe it’s just me. I like tight condoms because they are thin and you can feel sex through them. I just don’t see the need for magnums unless you really are 14”x 8”. Have you guys ever seen one inflated? They get huge. When I have to use condoms, I like it when they are stretched tight because it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing one. I always kinda thought that the guys who go into the gas station and make a big thing out of ordering magnums were trying to look like the big man. Hell, I’d never buy them just because I’d figure everyone would think the same of me. But ,like I said, maybe it’s just me.

And, no, I don’t have a tiny penis. I am currently 7.25 x 5.625. It’s not Mandingo but it isn’t Peewee Herman, either.

I agree that large size condoms have a lot to do with ego gratification. It is probably also true that some bigger guys find them more comfortable, even though a regular condom does stretch way more than enough to cover them. I don’t think I’ll ever get to 8x6, so I won’t be able to tell you first hand how a regular condom feels on a dick that big.

But, you are right about tight condoms; they are stretched so the wall is thinner, which can give you more sensation, and they also give you more confidence that they won’t slip off.

In this case, I’m going to trust the statistics from Condomania | Official Store - Condoms, Lube, Sex Toys over Wikipedia. Condomania reports that the Magnums are 54mm in diameter at the base and 60 mm at the top, with a length of 205 mm. XLs are the same 54 mm in diameter at the base, but are a bit wider (65 mm) at the top, and are the same 205 mm long as the Magnums. (This compares to a standard condom which is 52 mm diameter top to bottom and 190 mm in length.)

As for me, Magnums are significantly more comfortable than standard condoms. It doesn’t seem like that little bit of size difference should make that much of a comfort difference, but for me, Magnums roll down more easily compared to the struggle I would have with standard condoms, and Magnums don’t leave me with that angry red ring toward the base of my shaft that I would always get with standard condoms. (At my current length, standard condoms no longer roll all the way down to the base of the shaft anyway.)

Delaware2, if you haven’t tried a larger condom, at 5.8 inches girth, you owe it to yourself to give a larger size a try.
