Feeling something hard when pressing the penis head

Hello all,

I know this is an off topic to this forum section, but for some reason I was not able to start it in the Man’s Sexual Health. If a moderator can move it there, it will be greatly appreciated!
So here is the issue..
When I press the glans of my penis from the tip where the urethral opening is, I feel something hard like a small bone even when the penis is soft.
To see the exact location I am pressing and feeling the hard thing some pictures are attached.

I have a theory that the thing I am pressing is the Corpus spongiosum, which is surrounding the male urethra and is forming the penis glans at the top as seen in the screen shot below.

Can anyone else confirm that he is feeling the same thing, when pressing his soft penis like in the above screen shots?
I know it is a weird question, but I am really bothered, as I know there shouldn’t be any bones in the penis.

So, I just wanted to clarify now that apparently I was able to reply, I had written a much longer version before but it didn’t come through.

I’ve felt this thing for months (maybe a few years, even?), and it’s been bothering me off and on. I don’t think it’s normal as I can find nothing in any anatomical pictures of the penis that would suggest that there should be something like it. It goes very much to the tip of my glans, just a few millimetres shy of the urethral opening. It’s just above it, as well. I feel like it’s between the endings of my corpus cavernosum, but it extends a lot further, whereas they end just after entering the glans area so to speak.

It hasn’t been painful and I’ve been able to get erections. It is painful now, but I’m not sure if it’s some development I should be worried about or if it’s because I’ve been constantly touching it and examining it. I’ll lay off the touching for a few days and see what happens.

I hope you let me know if you find out anything about this! Also, if other members on this forum could be so kind as to check if they feel something akin to the described phenomenon, perhaps this isn’t something to be worried about and I (we) had just never noticed this before, though I doubt it. As I said before, from examining pictures and drawings, there’s nothing that should be there that fits this description.

I had something similar under my glans when I first used a hanger; if you’re doing a PE exercise that applies pressure at or under the glans, it may be due to inflammation, in which case I assume it’s temporary. Under my glans I can feel the CC’s so perhaps it’s normal.

I have noticed this hard feeling before 2 or 3 years, but I am sure it was always there. It does not have any pain or signs of infection, nor it makes any problems with erection. Its just that I am wondering if it is really a natural thing that every one has it or its just me. However I am almost sure that this is the Corpus spongiosum which is between the two Corpus cavernosum and is protecting urethral canal from not being smashed when the Corpus cavernosum is filling with blood during erection. In other words the urethral canal is inside the Corpus spongiosum which can be seen in the images below taken from the wikipedia article for Corpus spongiosum.

Can anyone else confirm that my theory is right, by checking for the described hard feeling like a small bone when the head of the penis is pressed back 1cm from the urethral opening (Urinary meatus).
I want also to clarify that I have never done PE and the hard feeling is there even when the penis is soft

Most probably you and I are feeling the same thing and I am sure the pain you have is from the constant touchings so don’t worry about it, just give it a rest :)
