Many people’s immune systems are able to get HPV under control.

No one is saying that HPV is nothing, doctor, but it certainly can become a benign condition that does not transfer.

That is not the case AT ALL. Ask that guy that dated a girl for a year and a half and his girlfriend didn’t have an outbreak and yet he did. Her immune system had it under wraps, no? How did it transfer? Benign???

It’s true that your immune system can figure it out and that you may very well not have an outbreak ever again, but to say that it is curable is absurd.

So what about the evidence that many strains are self-clearing (or are ‘managed’ by someone’s immune system)?

Most people who become infected with HPV will not have any symptoms and will clear the infection on their own.

By age 50, at least 80 percent of women will have acquired genital HPV infection.

There is no "cure" for HPV infection, although in most women the infection goes away on its own.

While it would be an unusual person to say that HPV was desirable, it is not usually the end of the world; it can be if you happen to get a strain that’s cancerous and don’t act. But the cancerous strains are the exception rather than the rule. Penile cancer in men is even rarer.

There is no iron-clad guarantee that HPV will become benign, but there is certainly evidence that it does so.

You’re kind of making it sound like the end of the world, doctor skizmata.

Huh? “End of the world”? Easy there, you are sounding suspiciously like an exagerator.

I’ve seen several cases where a woman gets an outbreak years after she thought she was cured. They come to the office in a panic looking for something to make it go away ASAP. Most are married and the husband doesn’t know that they are positive for the wart strain of HPV and they are withholding sex because they can’t figure out a way to ask their man to wear a condom. Warts can and do come back.

Believe me or not, it’s important that people who have genital warts know the facts. Forget about what I have said and go and see a urologist. They will tell you the same things: If you have ever had genital warts be forthright with your partner, use condoms, and don’t engage in oral sex.

Don’t believe me. I don’t care. I wouldn’t believe some dude that says he’s a Dr. on some message board either.

If you’re a guy, go see a urologist. If you’re a gal, go see an OB/GYN. Sit in their waiting room and read their magazines and pay your co-pay and do all of the other things that you need to do in order to feel the reality of their credentials for yourself. That is what I would do and that is what I am recommending that you do.

I was infected in 2004 by HPV (probably, ‘cause the symptoms started about that time) and since then, I got those damned warts/papules and have to removed them from time to time.

But my condition is different: I don’t have the “common” warts, called Condyloma acuminata, what I got is a variation called Bowenoid Papulosis - it is worst and considered a high-risk lesion, caused by the strain 16.

I´m gonna tell you what I learned:

1) Condoms can help, but you can’t say you’re safe: I always used them. As a result, the infection occurred on the base of the shaft and upper part of the scrotum.

2) Yes, there is a test to find what kind of strain you have, doesn’t matter if you’re man or woman: the wart/papule is removed and tested with PCR.

One thing that scares the shit out of me is, if I’m practicing PE - especially jelq, I could stimulate the growth and spread the infection to other areas of my dick.

As to the issue of the virus spreading due to PE, where you see concern, I see opportunity.

Quick history. I had a skin tab (as I was told) removed from the tip of my penis 20 years ago in collage. The girls didn’t like it and I could barely notice it but I had it chopped out none the less. Jump ahead these 20 years to last month when I found Thunders and started the newbie routine. Within 3 weeks of starting, FORTY THREE (Emphases intended) warts simultaneously appeared all over my penis in groups. I have not been with a woman in 4 years. 4 years!

Now, after the shock, and lots of acid, all but 4 are dead and have fallen off. If PE’ing ‘activated’ the virus in some way, it provided me the opportunity to kill all of them quickly. If continued PE’ing encourages them to put their heads on the chopping block, then I’m chopping away.

Opportunity. I was ready to give up, now I feel I have the advantage to encourage them to make their presence know. Can PE’ing cause them to spread, how would I know? I know 39 are no longer dormant and waiting.

As for the discussion on whether or not you can ever be cured, where did mine come from? I’m healthy, eat only organic, live a healthy lifestyle. Sitting dormant for 20 years then hello how are you, may we come in?

As the doctors say, once you´re infected, you will carry the virus for the rest of your life. You can keep it dormant but it is still there. The virus is opportunist and the break-outs occur when your immune system gets “weak” (during a flu, for example).

But at the same time, some doctors say that you can eliminate the virus. Usually, it takes between 2 and 5 years.

The problem with the “opportunity” is, if you activate a subclinical lesion and burn it with acid, you will end up with a “Frankenpenis” - so full of scars..

I´m burning them with a 5-fluoruracil cream - it also helps to reveal and destroy the subclinical infection.

And I´ve heard A LOT of people talking about a cream made of Thuya occidentalis. I will try that within some days.
