Has anyone here had a circumcision done later in life?

I’m looking to get my meatsword’s sheath removed, and I’m wondering about prices, procedure, and if your insurance covered it. I’ve got a severe Fenulum Breve, and I’ve opted to simply remove the foreskin altogether, rather than just the frenuloplasty.

Anyone have any info?

Are you sure about this? OK, you need something done about the frenulum. That will already remove a bundle of nerves resulting in loss of pleasure (from this source, anyway - not from the whole thing!). The foreskin has masses of nerves and removing it will also deny you the pleasure from here, too. I’m UK, so we don’t have the price problems - unless you want it done privately, which means there’s no medically or surgically justifiable reason. I really, really think you should only give up the frenulum. Once you’ve lost your foreskin, it’s gone for ever. It sounds like the frenulum excision will be covered by insurance anyway.

I hardly think you can be worried about the so-called hygiene reasons for circumcision. It’s a load of rubbish. All you need to do is pull the foreskin back and wash there when you have a shower.

I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I’ve decided to go with the full cut.

Hey man, I support you. I was cut at the age of 17 and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

Recovery was easy and no big deal at all. Don’t even worry about the loss of sensativity thing. I say, do what you think is right.

None of our business, of course, but since you brought it up…

If I hadn’t been circ’d as an infant and had frenulum breve I’d go with the frenuloplasty just to avoid exposing the glans and losing a lot of specialized tissue in the remainder of the foreskin. Why cut off the foot when amputating a toe will suffice? Just my opinion.

I hate to be beating a dead horse, but dude. I read somewhere that 80% of men who suffer with erectile dysfunction are circumcised. Personally, I’d wouldn’t go for the full cut.
