But herpes is incurable, too. And it can really put a damper on your sex life.

Have you had any other sex partners since, and what about concerns about passing on anything you might have contracted?

Well this was back in September so I doubt emergency treatment is still an option but still I will get tested that’s for sure.
I have had sex with 10 different people since than but all with condoms.

The odds are in your favor that you did not contract HIV in this manner, it is very rare to be contracted in this manner. The fact that you also
Scrubbed right after is a good thing, if you are circumcised the odds are even more in your favor. HIV is not easy to get, it takes work.

Well I’ve definitely improved, since that time I’ve only done 1 non protected intercourse which was back in September, which is why I’m scared again. It just seems no matter how much knowledge I have our or at least my other “head” seems to take control sometimes. I guess knowledge is not perfect to stop us from that.

Like others have said- It is important to get tested.

If at any time that you have done a one night stand with a stranger using unprotected sex, you not only should get tested to check if you did not get anything, but also to make sure that you would not pass it on to another girl whom you may wish to hook up with later on.. With that said, Got tested yet?
