Hooked up with ex. She is now complaining of symptoms.

It’s a long shot, but I’m hoping someone here might have some useful info to offer.

Basically today is April 16th 2023. I hooked up with an ex on April 14th 2023. As far as I know I have no STDs at all. The only noteworthy thing I have going on is a rash behind my ears. After some extensive Googling I came to the conclusion that it was Seborrheic Dermatitis. It is NOT contagious.

This morning she texted me with a picture. It was a red patch on her arm that looked like a rash. It seems similar to the rash I get from my cat sometimes. Then she said she had red bumps in various places on her body that look like blisters or pimples. I looked up the window for symptoms to appear for various STDs. Only two on that list had a possibility of showing symptoms in just two days, and those symptoms are nothing like what she is experiencing.

So, does anyone know of an STD that does not cause symptoms in one person, but causes a rash and bumps on the skin two days after sex? Personally I think this is some kind of bizarre coincidence and it is something entirely separate, but she won’t stop pestering me with updates on every new thing she notices, and I cannot shake the worry that maybe our hookup could somehow be related, even though I think it is unlikely. I’m wishing I had turned down her invitation for sex now.

You mentioned her arms and other “various” areas of her body, how is her beaver doing?

She hasn’t mentioned anything about her beaver. I’m sure she would tell me if something were going on. We had sex after all, so it’s not like it would be weird for us to discuss each other’s privates with each other. She has two red bumps on her hands, one on between her toes on one of her feet, and one on her chin. None of this matches up with any STD I can find.

Did she mention that she thought it was an std?

I’m thinking contact dermatitis. Scares the shit out of you but is actually a nothing burger. New/different soap or detergent is a common source.

She implied it by asking me when the last time was I was tested and how many people I had slept with since her. She has been continuing to text me. I guess now she thinks it isn’t an STD.

Yeah that sounds about right. I don’t think it’s from me whatever it is. I have no STDs to speak of.

Given all of the above, she is throwing lighter fluid on a flame.

Assure her that you are clean and suggest that if things don’t clear up she should see her doctor or a dermatologist.

We’ve been talking, and we’ve come to the conclusion that she is reacting to something from my job. We sell building products, and she is allergic to several of the woods we sell. When I saw her I was wearing my work pants which I hadn’t washed in awhile.

I’m assuming that you and her just came to this conclusion in the past twenty minutes?

Yes, and honestly it takes a load off my mind. I’m glad too. I have PE tonight, and anxiety and worry is a massive boner killer for me.

It could be anything, there’s no reason to assume it’s an STD. If she keeps bugging you about it, just say “Go to a %#$% doctor, you dumbbell.” Don’t use those words of course.
