Horny Goat Weed and hair loss

I read somewhere in this forum that horny goat weed can cause hair loss as a side effect. I haven’t read it anywhere else on the net. It says it “simulates” increase in testosterone but it does that mean that hair loss is possible?

Hair loss is not possible unless you are taking a significant amount of anabolic steroids. More specifically Testosterone. Even more specifically fast acting testosterone such as Testosterone proprianate. Dianabol and Anadrol (both oral) are known to also be a significant factor in hair loss.

However the testosterone level increased caused by things like Tribulus aren’t even near enough to cause hair loss. They also only create LH (lutenizing hormone) which is a precursor to testosterone. Horny goat weed only frees up bound testosterone. So in a word NO, take it as you need.
