Itchy ball sac

I know this might sound kind of gay, but my ball sac is always itching. I know probably everyone in here has had itchy balls once in a while, but mine constantly itches for what seems like no reason. I find myself scratching in public, without even being aware of it because I do it all the time. The only way I can get the itching to stop is by putting pain to it (pinching it or scratching it with a fork or something; yes I’m serious). So I was wondering if there is anything I can do to prevent my ball sac from itching, thanks for the help!

Check for flees ;) .

Maybe you have crabs or it could just be dry skin or bad hygiene. If you shave your nuts it could be the hair growing back.

Soap? Scabies?

Seriously, do a google as I’ve read where this can be a chronic condition for some people (sucks).
Have you run it by a doctor? You could be experiencing a bacterial skin condition.
In which case the first thing to do is keep it clean and dry as bacteria thrives in moisture.

The other thing could be that it’s too dry. Harsh soaps? Too hot showers?
In the winter time my skin gets really dry all over (yes the sack sometimes too) and my legs & back will itch like a MF’r
A good moisturizing body soap helps with that.

And lastly, new hairs? Do you shave it? The first day it starts to re-grow can be real fun. That tends to fade over time, but those new hairs can feel like someone stabbed the head with a pin.

Dude I got that a lot, sometimes itchy balls are just itchy balls. Sometimes you just gotta scratch the itch, especially if you are somewhat hairy. Now a days I don’t seem to be scratching my balls that much but just everywhere while I’m in bed, I feel like I probably do have flees. But I’m all good once I leave my bed. So I say itch away, your balls either just itch or you have dry skin, or your a hairy bastard.

Thanks for all the posts, I trim my balls, so there is not much hair there, but it isn’t below the skins surface to cause ingrown hairs or contain crabs or fleas. There are no signs of dry skin, but that may be a possibility. I’m going to try to use a moisturizer and see how that helps. Thanks for the help!

Gold Bond Medicated Powder. Works wonders.

I just e-mailed my private online physician with your problem. He said it’s most likely the beginning stages of AIDS. However, I’m thinking it’s a fungus like athletes foot. Try some Gold Bond like Gprent said.

If it’s a fungal infection Gold Bond won’t help. I would try the Gold Bond Anti-Itch first though. If it doesn’t help, move on to some kind of anti-fungal foot powder or cream. Air them puppies out every chance you get and make sure you rinse them really well when showering. Also, loose underwear and pants might help.
