Knot on scrotum.

Hey guys,

So for about 2 months I have been keeping an eye on this white lump on the left side of my scrotum. I thought it was an ingrown hair as a hair was growing out of it. So I plucked it, squeezed the knot a bit but nothing came out. So I just left it alone and every now and then run the hot water on it in the shower trying to soften it so I can squeeze it out. But its not budging, retreating, or anything. Its just a bit tender and sensitive. What do yall think that it is. I know its not an STD or anything because I haven’t had sex or been with anyone in about 3 months. Any recommendations. I can provide a pic if necessary but otherwise I will keep the display of my scrotum for private means only. Hope someone can give me something to go by. I reiterate, it doesn’t hurt, its not changing in size, shape, or color, but its just kind of annoying knowing its there. Thanks for the recommendations that are to come.

It’s probably a sebaceous cyst on the skin Many guys have them they are usual benign but occasionally they grow a bit .

Do a Google check on “sebaceous cysts” and see if that corresponds with your problem.

Now I’m a bit more worried.

No I meant more. But I will just go get it checked next week and see what the Doc’s recommendation for treatment is.

If it is a cyst, the doctor will likely poke it with a needle, or something similar, and squeeze the gunk out.

If its that easy then I can do that myself…Just need some rubbing alcohol for sanitary measures. But, is that really all the doc would do?

MDC, I took a stick pin to it and mashed it out. Thankfully, it didn’t hurt to do so. Now, I just hope it doesn’t come back.
