Lasting longer then ever.

I stopped PEing like 5 months ago when I started dating this girl who seems to be really happy with my size.
I also started taking Lexapro about 2 months ago to decrease my anxiety.. But it has made me last way longer in bed..
It’s almost too hard for me to have an orgasm, I have to go extremely hard and fast (which is great) for a long time, which actually isn’t that good because I tore her. And now we can have sex for a week until that heals.

Anyone else experience this with an anti-anxiety/depression?

And is it something I should be okay with? Or should I get away because it might have long term effects on me?

Longevity is a good thing. If you can remember, emphasize the glans and frenulin during the ol’ in and out this should bring you to ejaculation faster.

Speak softly carry a big dick, I'm mean stick!

It happened to me when I started taking Buprofion, which is the generic form of the anti-depressant Zyban. I started taking it to help me stop smoking, which it did, and I am now smoke free. When I was taking it I noticed that my sex drive was reduced, which is a side effect of anti-depressants. Don’t worry, it’s normal.

I used to take a Cipralex and experienced the same thing.

Check out this post I made a while back… likely one of many involving anti-depressants and delayed orgasms made in this forum.

Cipralex Experiences (delayed orgasms)

My doc prescribed Wellbutrin to offset the delayed orgasms and it worked very well… maybe even too well. While on Wellbutrin, my edging skills were put to the ultimate test. After coming off both drugs, I found my orgasm control to be far far better.

It’s been mentioned on a couple of threads. I think someone even talked about specifically asking for it or having it recommended for premature ejaculation, or at least talking over that effect with their doctor. I had similar effects when I tried some meds briefly.

I don’t think there’s anything to be worried about, so long as the effect doesn’t get more pronounced to the point where it becomes a real problem. I think that another thing that has been suggested or reported, which makes sense, is that it may help train you and your body to last long even if you go off the meds eventually. But hopefully some of those with more experience, will hop on this thread.

Good Luck,

FF

I had a very similar experience. There were times were it was taking way too long and I just couldn’t get off.

I took those type of Pills when I was about 12. I stopped them before I masturbated. I know what its like to physically be dependent on a drug. I couldn’t operate without it, and it’s something I don’t wanna get hooked on again.

SSRI’s are frequently being prescribed as an off-label treatment for premature ejaculation.

They increase the levels of a chemical called prolactin in our systems.

To offset this reaction: to increase arousal levels as a whole, you can offset the ssri with a dopamine agonist like cabergoline (dostinex) or requip.

You’d only have to take dostinex twice a week, and it would have a marked impact on your orgasm ability, frequency, and intensity.

prolactin, or sertonin? SSRI = selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor….

I love GOLD

Cipralex is the same as lexapro. Lexapro is the commercial name in the US while Cipralex is the name used outside the US, including Canada.

To counteract the sexual side effects of SSRIs, try to take gingko biloba. There is a study in California about this (Try google it). It works very well for me.

Sounds great but will it ever be ‘healthy’ for people to take anti-anxiety pills just to aid in lasting longer…
I presume these drugs are not commercially available.

Until then were left with our meat in our hands…trying to figure our bodies out…

Alternative to anti-depressants

I once had a problem with premature ejaculation: it wasn’t severe, as I could last a while, but not long enough in general. Literature on the subject often suggests that the origin of such a problem is psychological. And in my case, it turned out to be so. Essentially, I think I had _trained_ myself to cum fast through a youthful masturbation program.

What I did to fix the problem was this. I begn to use lidocaine based desensitizing agents—I liked “Stud 100” a lot: it worked well and it has a metered pump so you can accurately dose yourself, which is important for reasons to follow. At first I would use a heavy dose and always with a condom, so as to not desensitize my girl as well. In fact, she never knew I was using it; we always used condoms anyway. I found with the desensitization in place, I immediately had a measure of better control. She liked the results a lot. Several successes in a row improved my confidence somewhat, and I began to experience better control on account of the confidence, which improved my control some more… you get the idea. It was a happy arrangment.

With the desensitization in place, I learned this: the key to control is to stay away from the threshold of cumming (that point at which its almost inevitable), but not by a little bit, but _by a moderate amount._ In otherwords, if cumming is a 10, and low arousal during humping is a 3, I’d stay around 5 or 6. As one gets closer and closer to 10, it’s harder and harder to keep from going closer yet. In otherwords: it’s easier to control cumming at a distance. Don’t even go to 7! And with the desensitization in place I could do that, repeatibly, reliably. I could still experience moderate pleasure, and if I began to move up the scale, 7, 8… then by slightly changing the pace, or my focus (but not enough to throw her off!) I could defer orgasm indefinitely. So far so good.

With repeated success my confidence improved, and that in turn began to give me even better control, and I began to think of life without the Stud 100.

So, gradually, over a couple of months I reduced the dose. From 8 sprays I went to 6, then 4, then 3, 2, then 1, at which point that I was using the minimum dose. I think at 1 spray it was mainly conferring a psychological benefit. And the next step was to not use the desensitizing agent at all, which was a bit of a challenge because it had become a psychological crutch. But even that barrier wasn’t much of one, and for the first two or four times after not using the spray, things were a bit dicey—but I could do it.

Honestly, the biggest problem was that my girl had also learned to not hold back with me. Prior to my program of desensitization, she had learned to hold back, because she wanted it to last and she knew that the hotter she got the less chance of me lasting. But while using the spray over a couple of months my girl was experiencing long sessions, and she began to have more confidence in my lasting, so she could do what she wanted without pushing me over the edge. And this caused the biggest challenge of all: she began getting off so consistently and so hard, that this posed a challenge that I had not experienced prior. Now that I could go for a long time without stopping or significantly changing the pace or style, I’d slip into a groove and she’d start with the noises, and the movement, which would become more intense and THAT was such a turn on for me, the feeling of sexual power to make her respond like that, well, I’d not had that happen before. So even if I had learned to maintain control with average sex, now I had also to learn to control myself with, well, with her screaming and bucking, etc.

Summary: within about 3 months, start to finish, I went from a real problem place to a place where I could go as long as needed, without changing things up so much that I’m throwing her off her stride, and it’s been years now and with but one exception my girl gets off every single time, with me, or before me. She’s after me all the time now for sex.

If you need better control, I suggest my method. It’s cheap, safe, no prescriptions are needed, and it gives one a huge ego boost to feel your woman pulsating around your dick and to see your women’s face crinkled up in that unique way that (in my limited experience) all women do when they come hard.

Good luck.
