lets build a condom data base

Hi,was going to resurrect one of the old condom posts. But decided this called for a brand new one.

Post your current stats, condom used, and how well it fit. If we all contribute this could be VERY valuable. We could build the definitive "what condom to use based on your EXACT size" DB.

I just used a magnum last night. It stayed on fine, even felt snug, although not too tight. I am 7.33X6.25"(don’t like the 0.07mm thickness) Guess I don’t need to bulk up for a Magnum after all.

I think this could be a very worth while thread.

I know you guys don’t really want to go out and have lots of sex with different women …but damn it! do it for the sake of science. If I must do this all on my own I will ( Oh, the sacrifices I make)
But it will take a bit because I am poor and will be buying them in lots of 12 or so. Unless they are way to big/small I will use one up before trying a new one.

Had a Magnum split on me on Wednesday. NOT a good thing.

I use to use Lifestyles a lot and those always fit nice and tight and I must admit, the sex still felt pretty damn good with them. I know use Trojans, and I didn’t like them at first but now I have gotten use to them. I would pick Lifestyles over Trojans just because I feel the lube on the trojans wears off kinda fast.

Hear you on the lube thing. I keep a bottle of astroglide in my car at all times. I love that stuff!

I need to try out more of those super tin condoms.

You’re getting too big for Magnums. Better move up. :-)

When I started PE a year and a half ago average sized condoms fit okay. But then the cramp began because my glans was increasing in diameter and I was getting some shaft girth gain. I don’t like anything compressed by a condom because you lose sensitivity.

Went from lubricated Trojan-enz to Trojan Large then to Magnum XL. In terms of over all comfort, the Trojan Large stage was the best because I prefer that lubricant. However, the Magnum XL, in spite of the lube, is the best fit now that I’ve got to a tad more than 8 1/3 x 6 1/3. They have a bit more head room. But XLs are the end of the line size-wise. Maybe that’s a hint that more than I’ve already gained isn’t necessarily better?

Has the Durex Avanti changed? I’m trying to pick out a favourite condom and the polyurethane Avanti intrigue me. No latex allergy, thinner, stronger, non porous, no latex smell, better body heat transfer. The durex site shows 64mm top,mid and 54mm ring at the bottom of the shaft. Supposedly 180mm long. Some sites have it listed at 8 inches long but 180 is only 7.2 inches if I’m correct?

The Crown Skinless has gotten some of the best reviews and I’m ready to try them out. One site rated it A+ for women A+ for men. The thinnest known condom? They aren’t polyurethane though hmm. Supposedly the condom most used in porn movies, I’m not sure if this is in Japanese porn movies or also US industry. It has an ok length of 7.5 inches. 2.1 inch 54mm width. Odd color of pink :P

Has anyone tried them. Where is the best place to buy condoms online? How bout offline other than say an adult toy store?

Update I tried the Crown Skinless Skin. They felt great due to how thin they are , a bit snug, I need to try a larger size and see. Although its posted at 7.5 length I seemed to have had 1 + inch of uncovered shaft. I forgot to measure it after I took it off to verify if its 7.5. Very little lubricrant, get a bottle of your favourite lube. Not much of a latex smell.

Since I wrote that a couple years ago there are now two larger sizes available, a boon to guys with a wide glans and shaft.

Although they do not give the sizes of the condoms correspondiing to their secret size code in ordering, the D21 is a just slightly wider than Magnum XL - at least it rolls down over the head easier than an XL does. The U22 is noticeably wider than Magnum XL, and is very comfortable for me. But it is also much longer, longer than I need. Since my base is wider than my shaft, any condom tends to roll back “up hill” on itself. With the U22 I end up with a ring of un-used rubber. This has sometimes interfered with easy ejaculation however, girthwise (usually 6.25 for me), they do fit fine.

In terms of quality, these larger condoms (TheyFit) exceeded safety standards as determined by Consumer Reports, as did the Trojan Magnum XL. CR does caution men who aren’t large enough for them that they may slip off during sex, so be careful. TheyFit are not cheap. They cost about US$1.00 each. However, if you want a good fit, whatever your size, you will probably find it among the 55 sizes they offer.

PS: The lube on them is not the greatest so have your own favorite handy.
