Lost girth after hemorrhoid operation?? Help!

I’m sure anxiety plays a role during sex, but it shouldn’t have much of an effect on my own measurements at home… the observation occurs during an erection I measure right before I’m ready to bust. I’ve also got a handful of 5mg cialis pills and also went on a supplement journey for a while, taking tribulus, maca and damiana to name a few, although I’ve stopped this recently because I got my testosterone measured and apparently it’s actually on the high side. The supplements made me extremely horny, but EQ didn’t change a bit!

Well, that was a good waste of time! I just got back from the urologist. He pretty much said everything looked fine upon examination, and that it was unlikely but not impossible that the other doctor could’ve made a mistake. Pardon my French, but no sh*t sherlock!! Of course it’s unlikely, but I wanted to know if it was even a POSSIBILITY, given the anatomy going on down there. But he didn’t examine that area and even said that they don’t test erections at his office. Anything that could check for that would involve an “invasive” test injecting the penis—something they couldn’t be bothered to even do at his office— to make it hard and observe what’s happening with the blood flow, and he said that even then there aren’t many options to repair anything other than surgery. He gave me some pills and sent me on my merry way.

Thank goodness my insurance covered most of that, because that was the biggest waste of money I’ve spent in a good while.

Yes, doctors are quite un sensitive and think that only major problems need attention.

Can you do hot baths ? I think that you should do this as heat relaxes tissues and also you should take prior to that some cialis/viagra then take measurements.

I know this this an old thread but I thought I would follow up with some info in case anyone else comes across this thread and wonders what the outcome was. Well, basically I went to another urologist out of town who specializes in surgical procedures. I told him the whole story and how I felt that my CS had practically disappeared after this operation. He took an ultrasound (?) and looked at the inner structure and noticed no actual damage to the CS itself, so he concluded that perhaps the perineal nerve got damaged during the operation. I’m not entirely sure what that has to do with the blood flow itself, but he said that it generally takes 1-2 years for a nerve like this to heal. So yeah, I don’t know if I should sue the guy who did the operation now or just wait it out. It all sucks…

I’d get another opinion on that dude - Wouldn’t be happy with a Uro making a guess and telling you that you basically won’t know whether he is right or not for another year and a half.

Iʼm following up on this thread from a year ago just to let folks know that I guess thereʼs a semi happy ending in here— my EG returned to normal. Whew!! I took a year break from PE to assess this injury, so now itʼs time to get back at it because my EG was on the low side to begin with.

The perineal area still feels somewhat empty, however. I discovered Tweakingʼs thread on deflated glans and firm flaccid, and realized that whatever happened to me quite possibly couldʼve ended up with pelvic floor dysfunction. I, too have those symptoms, and even think I had them before this fiasco— but the firm flaccid and premature ejaculation definitely started afterwords. I read some of the firm flaccid forum and epohʼs guide (google it), but for some reason the site closed up today. Hoping Tweaking may be able to chime in here!

On the long run EQ should go even better than before the operation, because, said simply, hemorroids caused lacks of blood that should go into the penis.

That was certainly a thought I had. I donʼt recall EQ being amazingly better after the operation, but maybe that was due to the traumatic experience I had myself. Also, unfortunately the hemorrhoids returned too! The operation all in all was a quick fix that clearly didnʼt address a deeper rooted problem. What that would be Iʼm not entirely sure yet…

With that said, Iʼm sure this operation is quite useful for some people, but trust your instincts— if it is agonizingly painful donʼt do it!
