STDs in adult industry

Alright, I know that adult stars need to have an HIV test every thirty days. However, I recently read this, “so my answer was that 99.9% of the porn industry has Herpes.”. That came from none other than the now retired from porn star Belladonna. Any one else ever heard a stat like that? It would seem to me that incidences would be much higher in that industry. I just got a five panel STD test, all negative, but I got the test as a first step towards starting my way into the industry/field of adult movies. Now I’m terrified. I don’t want to risk it, knowing the relief of an “all clear” test result. Back to bartending? Fuck!

Vaccine? Bartending, only psychopathic people do that.

PS: There is an outbreak of this on the Czech porn people in the last week. So try not to fuck one right now.

The 99.9% figure has been questioned, though I couldn’t easily find good information. Apparently the porn industry group that does the testing, AIM, doesn’t report results for herpes.
