To Circumsize or Not to Circumsize?

In some ways it seems that the old saying of, “If it ain’t broke don’t try fix it,” fits in well here. Thanks for the input guys it helped a lot.

I'd give

anything to be uncut. first, I need that extra quarter inch they threw in the trash. Secondly, I think it looks great, I’ve also heard there’s greater sensitivity, but some of you say no. I had a friend who got circ. later on in life and the recovery was excruciating for him. This was many years ago, so maybe things have changed. I’m thinking of foreskin restoration as Mod. is doing.

I think the health issues are no longer valid. Daily hyg. should take care of that. As far as girls not going down on you if you’re uncut - screw’em - literally.

BTW, Thunder, I’m trying to picture you sitting there looking at your penis. Hope nobody peeks in your window, chief.

Well I have been at restoring my foreskin now for about 4 or 5 months. I have total coverage while flaccid. I use multiple O rings to keep my glans covered when not tugging.

Since the past month my glans has started to shed the outer skin that has formed over it in the pass 45 years. The coronal ridge is now smooth and has the purplish red color like an uncut guy. It now is very moist to the touch, and yes about 25% more sensitive than before.

Hygiene, all I do is clean it with water. Using soap is not recommended as it can lead to irritation. I use vitamin E to aid in the dekeratinization of the glans and inner foreskin.

The process of restoring your foreskin, in time, is about 1 to 3 years! And total dekeratinization of the glans is about 6 months to a year.

Lets face it this is a form of mutilation of the penis, personaly I don’t understand why female circumcision is considered abnormal but with men its considered de rigeur in certain circles.

I think that getting circumcised because certain women have expressed a preference is about as valid a reason as doing it because it was mentioned as preferrable on Sex in the City.

PE is another form of penis mutilation. We are here because we are either not happy with the way it is now or at least we think it will be better when bigger. But at least with PE you can dip in and see if you like it.

I guess you have to look at your reasons for doing anything and if you are doing something because you feel pressurised by society or portions of society then maybe its worth looking deeper.

Circumcise in haste, repent at leisure I guess.

I can’t imagine anyone with intact foreskin would lob it off for any reason! You uncut guys are so fortunate as to have the choice. As for me and 85%+ of American males, someone else decided that I would prefer life this way (cut).

I am currently restoring my foreskin and can say with absolute certainty that you WILL notice a difference. With only partial coverage, my glans foreskin remnant are beginning to feel smoother and more sensitive, making sex much more enjoyable for me and my wife.

I agree that you might try different women, if the ones your with don’t enjoy your foreskin - apparently they are in the minority, taking into account worldwide population and cultures which abhor penile mutilation.

While circumcision is ultimately YOUR choice, it is a permanent decision. Think long and hard (no pun intended).

My opinion, as a cicrumsized man? Don’t do it.

My only reason, is my cut, like ThunderSS’s wasn’t done very well.

There’s still about a centimeter’s worth of skin that’s still attached to the head. It’s a royal pain in my ass for everything. Sex, PE, Masturbation, everything.

Don’t risk it.

Would you care to elaborate more? Yes it is more sensitive but does it really feel better? If so, how much better than before? Do you last longer or shorter now? Also, what do the ladies think (about look, & feel inside vagina)? I’m considering regrowing my foreskin as well.

This is a really interesting subject for me as I recently decided to get cut and lose the frenulum as well. Seeing as allot of cut guys want a foreskin, I am thinking of selling mine on eBay!

Feb 2003: 7" BPEL x 5" EG. June 2006: 9" BPEL x 6.5" EG

I would say keep it. You’ve been this long with it, just keep it. If it were a baby boy, I would say cut him because later on he can choose if he wants it back or not and it would probably be easier to restore it than get it cut. Just my opinion.

Too risky to me. I don’t ever want to lose sensation down there.

I, too, considered getting a circumcision when I was younger. I’m glad I
Never went through with it. The doctor advised against it since I didn’t
Have alot of extra overhang to begin with. I’ve noticed that as I’ve gotten
Older that there is not as much extra skin, this should give me more skin
To grow into once I officially start my PE routine. I’ve never met anyone
Who found me unattractive down there that really cared about me.

Strangely, it seems to be the in vogue thing to be uncut now. When I
Was younger EVERYONE in my part of the world was cut. In my high
School graduating class of 500, I was the only guy in gym class that
Was uncut and, boy, did I get some strange glances! At 46, I’ve grown
To accept and be happy with myself. We are ALL different.

I´m uncut and would NEVER get a circumcision. Since my foreskin tip isn´t very loose, when I have sex, I can choice if keep my glans covered or retract my sking exposing my head. I have the best of both worlds. Different sensations, different results I can say. For example, if I uncover my glans, I can last much longer because stimulation is more direct, but a little less pleasurable, hard to describe. With my foreskin covering my head I enjoy new sensations from my foreskin nerves, I guess. It´s great too.

None of them feels better, just different… My advice is don´t get cut guys. :D

My experience has been the opposite of that, but then I’m in the UK so I was the odd one out being cut, so I got all the looks.

I don’t know if its “in vogue” here to be cut or uncut, but I know the girls like my cut unit. Especially if they’ve only ever seen uncut ones before. So the ol’ tale about girls liking it just ‘cause its what they’re used to ain’t necessarily true… :p

Start: 22 Mar 04: 6.5" BPEL x 4.6" EG & 6" head. As at: 1 Jan 05: 7.5" BPEL x 4.8-4.9" EG & 6.3" head.

Re-re-start!: 6 Feb 17: 6.9" BPEL x 4.9" EG & 5.5" head. As of: 23 Feb 17: 7.0" BPEL x 5.0" EG & 6.0" head.

Ideal: ASAP: 8+" BPEL x 5.5+" EG & 6.5+" head But will continue if the going is good!!

When I was a baby I had mine cut. I had all 3 of my boys cut as well when they were newborns. We never had any infection problems.

For me personally I like the looks of my dick. The rim of the head is very sysmetrical and looks like a little Nazi helmet. :) It isn’t all wraped up in a piece of wrinkly baloney.

But that being said. If I wasn’t cut back then I would certainly not consider doing it as an adult.
