Trying to get back sensitivity Glycolic Acid

The few posts that I have on here before now are about my rash, impatient foray into the world of PE. Basically an incorrect jelqing technique (jelqing over the glans, too high EQ) and overworking (excessive masturbation post-workout) led to pain in my veins, problems with erections for a while and a great loss of sensitivity in both the glans and shaft.
That was almost a year ago. I don’t have any more pain (unless I handle my unit too roughly masturbating), and can have healthy erections, but the main blow I’ve got comes from the reduced sensitivity in my glans. The jelqing over the glans ended up callousing or keratinizing the glans - I used to be too sensitive before, getting erections by just feeling my penis in my boxers, or taking my clothes off and not even touching anything.
Now I can still get erections (sometimes easily around women), but with much more concentration required on my part to maintain it. Porn has also become more of an aid and I want to be less dependent on that.
I’ve been applying a 20% glycolic acid cream I purchased online for a while with limited success - the shaft has become slightly more sensitive, but not the glans. Upping the percentage is a possibility.
While theoretically I can last longer because of this decreased sensitivity, I feel that the lack of sensation ends up screwing my libido - I have to “think” erections more, as opposed to just spontaneously getting them. Playing with my dick just isn’t as fun as it used to be.
Basically I want to ask if anyone has any tips (possibly about creams, glycolic acid) for increasing glans sensitivity/dekeratinization. Foreskin restoration is not an option for me. I’m so relieved that my dick still works in the wake of that injury - I just want things to feel good again FIRST, then I can think about starting PE the RIGHT way.
