twins and penis size

Would a pair of male twins develop identical penises, if things are allowed to follow their natural course of development?

More than likely they would if they did the same activities when growing up. I think that if one was a weightlifter and the other wasn’t during puberty, that it is potentially possible that the testosterone levels would be different and different growth would occur.

Why? You and your twin planning on banging the same girl? The ol’ switcheroo? If you’re identical twins, there shouldn’t be much difference, but dick size may be a give away. Check first to make sure your cover won’t be blown. Heh.

Just read something about that.

The answer is: It depends. It depends on when and how much of the Growth hormone, testosterone, and all other hormones secrete and for what duration and when, etc. Conceivably, the DNA is identical, but health and diet, stress levels etc. at the crucial time of puberty can and do vary with every individual, including twins.

So what you are saying is that, like personality, genetics play a role in penis growth and development in combination with environmental factors. I do not have a twin. I was always the smallest in my class, last to get pubic hair, facial hair, last to have his voice drop, balls drop etc. I wonder if my late growth and development have anything to do with the present size of my johnson now, which is quite mediocre. Is it possible that it never had the chance to fully grow to its potential since I experienced only one or two major growth spurts rather than a more consistant continuous growth spurt like everyone else? Anyone else out there an extremely late bloomer and hung like a horse? Any twins studies out there on penis size would definitely be interesting to check out.

interesting.

I agree that with the differening environs, that the genetically identical twins would develope differently. Although I’m not sure to what extent - in twins that is.

Say if you live a very healthly lifestyle and get say 7”, how much would that be reduced if you were a couch potato? 6.75? 5.5?

To what lengths (pun) can we maximise a genetically predetermined path? (Without PE)

I personally had a fairly active lifestyle in late childhood, had a constant and forceful growth spurt (was closing in on 6’ even before high school) and I was at about 8” (pre-PE, naturally that is)
maybe my active and healthy lifestyle helped to start my growth earlier and therefore maximize my penile development to an extent? eg maximized my genetic potential…

It is doubtful that post-pubescent inactivity is the only explanation for my diminutive size but I always aspired to having an active pubescent childhood, trying out several sports. However, I never participated for more than a few years because I was always too small to compete within my age bracket. And so, I was not as active as I wanted to be, and therefore, more of a “couchpotato” but more by default. Following all of this was an extreme blow to my self confidence. In short, school was a bit of a stuggle for me and I felt constantly inadequate in everything except academics (and unfortunately there is no correlation between being brighter and becoming more accepted). This is probably just a big brooh-ha but I have a strange theory related to sexual selection in that if the individual is less confident about his sexuality during growth and develpment he/she will develop less effective selection characteristics and confidence in choosing a mate. Could Darwin have a point here or am I totally insane?
