Vein Constricting

Vein Constricting

I have a large vein around the circumference of my penis about half an inch lower on the shaft than my circumcision scar. When it constricts hard, it causes embarrassing retraction, sometimes so bad that my penis retracts into the foreskin and then the vein in question acts like a draw string on a pouch. Sometimes it’s painful to push the head back out. This isn’t a daily problem, but weekly at least. The newbie routine has helped this to a degree for reasons unknown to me, and I didn’t start PE to fix this, I really didn’t connect the issue to that vein until I did quite a bit of learning here.

Is anyone familiar with vascular surgery revolving around relocating veins? I would like to consider this and consult a urologist about it if it isn’t terribly invasive or a huge risk to my future sexual health. If the risk is too great, I’ll just deal with it. Before I do that, I am hoping someone on this site may have some insight into the situation, or other suggestions.

Thank you

Start 9/25/19 - 6 3/4" BPEL -> 11/20/19 - 7" BPEL -> 9/1/20 - 7 1/4" BPEL -> trying to hit anything over 8" BPEL (only updating every 1/4" it's slow but it's working)

- You only have one dick. Don't break it.

- Give her an orgasm before you stick your prick in her.

My suggestion is to stay away from surgery. Sometimes even with the best doctor it just doesn’t work out. Why take that risk for an occasional thing?

The painful part is occasional, it constantly causes some level discomfort and it’s distracting.

No reason to delay seeing the doc. It might not be a vein, it could be a lymph vessel.

I had something like that and it went away in a week.

It sounds like a superficial vein in the skin, not between the fascia. If so, it plays no role in erection and you could probably have it removed or ablated without consequence since the remaining veins would just adjust their size to compensate, but you might be able to get rid of it with more conservative treatment. You’d need to see a doctor about it.

It might not be a vein though.

If it is a vein, you may have a blood clot or infection in it.

Since you’re in the USA, it’s very possible you might not have access to a doctor. If I was in your position, I would check my body temp to see if I had a fever, which could indicate infection. If there was no fever, I would rig a compression stocking around the penis, making sure it doesn’t cut off blood flow, and apply hemorrhoid cream. If there was a fever, I would put antibiotic cream on it immediately and try to find a low cost or free clinic. I’m not a doctor though, and this isn’t medical advice. I’m just writing what I would do.

Actually, I wouldn’t use hemorrhoid cream. Phenylephrine in the cream might cause it’s own problems and I can’t find anything about it actually working for distended veins (so why is it in a hemorrhoid cream?).

I’ve gotten hemorrhoids before, witch hazel and garlic DIY suppositories worked. Hemorrhoid cream didn’t.
