Lol exactly marinera. Everyone gets recommended the same newbie routine because it is tried and true.
Greenlight, I have been in your position and have a few ideas.
1. Those few days off might be stacking up more than you think. Go back and look at each past week, and count how many days you PEed and how many you didn’t. I used to take days off because I was too tired, working too much, yada yada. Then on Sunday I would sit and think about it, and realized I had PEed only 2 days, instead of 4 or 5. That’s less than half. If you go to the gym and you bench 75lbs instead of 150, you will gain nothing.
2. What is your erection % when jelqing? I read you do an upside down U shape, and that is the only way you feel really hard. Surprisingly, a lot of guys get girth gains with erection levels hovering below 80%. Above 80% doesn’t give a lot of results, even clampers start at 70 or 80% I believe and then expand from there.
3. 40 min of jelqing is a LOT. I mean, that is a crap-load of jelqing. The newbie routine says 20 min., and after a few months I ramped up to 25 min. but only after a lot of conditioning. I know what it’s like to skip a day, and then think that doubling up your jelqing the next day to make up for it, but it doesn’t work that way.
4. Don’t underestimate O bends. I got so excited about them when I read that thread, and I think I was one of the newest people to put them in their routine and keep a log on them. But I found that I needed a minimum 6 weeks of newbie routine, 2 days on 1 off, before I could handle them. Before that and I noticed morning wood dropped off. I canceled the O bends and it came right back. You said your PIs have been good, but growth is also a positive PI.
I say you really think back about how many days per week you were doing the routine. I did that and it was kind of a wake up that I can’t half-ass PE, it takes consistency.
OK 1 more big thing. That break over xmas probably undid some progress. I did the same thing as you. I was doing well then stayed with my gf for 2 weeks on a vacation. The day I got there I felt pretty thick. By the last day, even with a cock ring, my girth had regressed back. It takes a long time to cement your gains. A few months on the newbie routine will be lost very quickly, in my experience at least.
Do the newbie routine, 2 days on, 1 day off, for 2 months. Then start with O bends, doing 10 seconds per bend. I did the bends in 9 places on the shaft: base, middle, upper shaft, then the same for each side. Do that for 1 month before your jelqing (and keep that to 20 minutes!) and see where you’re at then.
