I’ve often wondered about how intelligence. Scientists say the average Intelligence Quotient is 100, which means there are evidently a huge number of people who have below average IQ. The thing is, it often seems like I don’t know very many. I know my IQ, or at least what it was the last time I was tested, and it’s supposedly above 100. Most of the people with whom I come in contact, and I’d bet most of the people on this forum, have an IQ above 100. In fact, I’m often humbled – even awestruck – by the high level of intelligence I often see exhibited here at Thunder’s. I can be so impressed that sometimes I think: “damn there are some smart people in the world. Am I really intelligent?” Thoughts like that can erode my self esteem, and make me feel sad. But you know, after reading that first post, I’m feeling pretty good about myself. So, I guess I just wanted to say: thank you.
