Anyone had success with nattokinase or serrapeptase for thrombosed veins?
Hey guys,
I’ve had a thrombosed vein that I know of for about a month. It might have been there for a bit longer but I didn’t realize it was a T-vein. It is still there now, I don’t think it is affecting EQ but I have been totally avoiding PE since early January. I figured it would go away in a few weeks but it is still there, albeit smaller (I think). Until about 1 week ago I was doing the typical rest and aspirin and fish oil and hot rice sock for about 15 minutes a day. That didn’t seem to do much. I decided to start using a nattokinase/serrapeptase mixture last week since nattokinase (NK) is a clot breaker, while aspirin merely prevents more clots from forming, I am pretty sure. I have also been using EVO oil for the past week 1 or 2 times a day. I got off the aspirin since I don’t want to combine that way of thinning the blood with NK. All I take for now is NK/SP, pycnogenol, and occasionally some bromelain since I heard this may also help break clots.
Overall the clot seems to slowly be getting better, but mostly in the past 3 or so days. I started with 2000 FU of NK on an empty stomach 4 days ago for the first few days, and I am up to 4000FU daily now and probably won’t go much higher. I am aware that NK may be dangerous in high doses because I don’t want to cause excessive bleeding somewhere important like my brain. Today, in the morning, on an empty stomach, I took 4000 FU nattokinase and 80,000 SPU of serrapeptase, which is just 2 pills of the combined formula I have from Doctor’s Best. I also took 100 mg of pycnogenol and 80 mg bromelain 1 hour later, still on an empty stomach since I read a paper saying nattokinase and pycnogenol combined helped prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis on flights, which is similar to my goal. Anyone had good results for T veins with NK?
I should probably see a urologist just to be safe. However, I have felt totally fine down there with no negative indicators so I figured the T vein would resolve itself.
