I have ~4.5 inch base girth, but a 5 inch midshaft girth. I have found sometimes during sex that it feels a little unstable. I am wondering if I should start hanging early because of this? Is there anyone in my situation that gained base girth from manual excercises?

Yeah, that would work. Depending on how much scratch you got (cash$) I would look into hanging.

Never heard of manual exercises really giving you a nice girth at the base. Perhaps some form of stretching may do it. Not sure though. Someone will chime in. What happens when you hang and get 5 at the base. Do you stop?

I have been wondering the same thing Philadelph all weekend! I have 4.5” girth and less at the base, the only thing I am worried about is that I am mainly trying to acheive girth at the moment via jelqing so this would only make the problem worse! Also I am worried about losing erection angle by hanging, mine is quite low. I am thinking about making a post in the hangers forum.

When I first read the topic, I got very disturbed.

Dry jelqing did it to me. I guess it’s because I pressed my CS heavily with my first and middle finger while sliding towards glands and therefore gave the CS a lot of pressure.

I would’t stop no…never. I just feel like I need some support before I start making myself even more top heavy. I really don’t care if I am always a little smaller at the base, but I just need a solid base for support.

I think your fear of an unstable base is unfounded, but I do believe it is an aesthetics issue instead. Your mind is playing a trick on you. I don’t think your dick will break off or wobble out of alignment like my car always does. I have heard of people with a difference of as much as 1” between the base to the mid or top. There dicks didn’t break off yet, I am sure of it.

I suggest hanging to help that out. Base girth will plop right on for you.

PS: Don’t take any mental/relationship advice from me. I sleep in my PJs clutching my blanket while sucking on my thumb. I also have several night lights going, just for safety.;)

I had to stop hanging due to a numbness issue. I was only hanging for about 2 weeks or so total, but I had gained about .25 inches at the base. I lost that gain at the base when I took some time off for PE while the numbness was getting better. I started back with an all out girth routine a couple days ago, since I am satisfied with my length for now. I think my numbness is gone, I can’t really tell fully. I just can’t remember how sensitive my shaft was before. Anyhow, this is my basic Girth routine that I am doing until I hit 5.5 midshaft (around 5 now), then I will most likely resume hanging.

10 minutes warm up jelqs
10 minutes clamped with cable clamp
10 minutes uli’s/ horses and jelqs
10 minutes clamped

I feel like I have already gained from just 4 or 5 sessions of this.

What were you hanging with? Do you have a nice enough length? The reason I ask, is most guys don’t do any girth stuff till they hit the length goal or come close to it.
