I had permanent girth gains of about .2" inches and additional temporary gains of another .25" inches. (I was about 4.8" before BM, went up to 5.25" and am now hovering just over 5")
No permanent length gains that I would attribute to the BM. I did gain .1" to .25" during the time I was incorporating the BM into my routine but I was also following a good manual routine, which is why I think I was able to keep some of the girth gains
No permanent discoloration, but I also used the BM at very minimal pressures. The manufacturers recommend pumping the product "all the way down" so that no more water comes out, but they don’t mention that this could be anywhere between 10hg and 15hg of pressure
Here’s a video showing an x30 at max pressure reaching 17hg
For context most air pumpers don’t exceed 5hg for a majority of their routines, and even in very experienced pumpers I rarely see people going over 7-9hg (there are people who go much higher but I’m just speaking generally of what I’ve read) I wish someone would have mentioned just how much excess pressure the bathmate could create before I got mine because I definitely overdid it when i first got mine.
If you want to use it safely you basically have to pump the minimal amount to maintain a seal and then maybe pump a little more, but it’s impossible to know how much pressure you’re actually using due to the lack of a gauge. I hear people say to "go off of sensation" but this is terrible advice imo as it’s hard to know when there’s too much pressure especially if it’s your first experience in pumping.
Would I recommend getting one? Honestly no. I’m going to be ordering my first air system soon which is going to cost me $10 less than my bathmate that I got at a wholesale price (~$110 for an x40). Strongly considering just throwing my x40 away as it’s rather annoying to hide a footlong plastic cock pump, and after realizing how hard it is to use consistent pressures with it I have no real desire to go back even if air pumping doesn’t work out for me. There are very real benefits to hydro pumping, I just don’t think the bathmate is an efficient system.
I’m not sure how much more luck I’ll have with air pumping, but overall the bathmate didn’t live up to the hype for me and I feel like the manufacturers don’t provide clear enough information to their customers. Don’t get me wrong it can still be a good tool especially if you’re only able to pump in the shower/bath, but I guess I’ll just have to see how I do with an air pump before I try to compare results.
Sorry that was so much reading but I hope it helped!
