BBC: Penis tissue replaced in the lab --tissue engineering
Tissue created in a laboratory has been used to completely replace the erectile tissue of the penis in animals.
The advance raises hopes of being able to restore full function to human penises that have been damaged by injury or disease.
Rabbits given the engineered tissue by the scientists from Wake Forest University in North Carolina had normal sexual function and produced offspring.

Scientists are experimenting on this for healing purposes only, but I think there is a possibility for a cosmetic use pretty well too especially for penis enlargement. Maybe in 10 years we could have that as the best method for getting a bigger penis, which is still healthy as most enlargement techniques now are more or less a risk for erectile function.
Anyone knows more about tissue engineering and what the costs/advantages could be like?
