Calexotics Optimum Series Executive Automatic Smart Pump: Preliminary Review

Besides myself one person on this platform has enquired about one of the automatic electronic pumps by Calexotics. I know because I responded in that thread. Today I received mine, the Optimum Series Executive Automatic Smart Pump [https://www.ama … /dp/B083YHRMQ6/ . Without Markdown support I cannot make the link display nicely. After the experience I am so impressed that I am compelled to write a preliminary review. There are a few bytes of data of which to remain conscious. Firstly, I have always been bereft of eyesight. This means no luxury to read instructions or read labels for onboard controls. Secondly, I cannot find a text-based manual online anywhere. This means I had to teach myself all things about this machine. Finally, I have used successfully a Bathmate HydroXtreme 9 since May 2022. This means the only thing I know is a manual hydro-pump with no expectations for this.

After it charged for two hours via the USB-A-to-Micro-USB cable I prepared for the experience. The sleeve is a very thick strange material that I cannot describe adequately except to call it gelatinous in texture and consistency. Apparently the top of it which is more thin and of a greater diameter than the cylinder [it rests on the cylinder when unfolded] folds over the cylinder although to me this was not obvious. The top half inside has got a bumpy texture and the bottom half inside has got a ribbed texture. The bottom has got a hole – presumably to alter pressure. I used ample Bathmate lubricant. Even still it was very difficult to insert myself inside of this heavy gelatinous tube with or without it being inside of the cylinder. It seemed more easy to do so before I inserted it into the cylinder but then the gelatinous tube is quite difficult to insert into the cylinder. Perhaps I did something incorrectly.

Not to know which button performs which function[s] I have discovered the following. The button most near to the user is the button to cycle amongst programmes. The middle button is to release any vacuum that may exist and apparently turns off the machine until another button is pressed. This button performs the function manually. That means to decrease pressure slightly it need be pressed quickly; to press it decreases pressure only for the time it remains depressed. It can be pulsated for example. The button most far from the user seems to be the on/off toggle button. When pressed whilst the machine is active it will disable activity and once pressed again the machine will resume activity.

The most confusing facet for me are the modes of operations. There seems to be two pump programmes cycleable via the top button and some other mode that cannot possibly be a routine of pumping. The most and truly incredibly impressive mode is activated seemingly only after vacuum has been released entirely and the on/off button is pressed. I call it incredibly impressive because the pressure it exerts [with motor on constantly] is much more than anything I can achieve with the Bathmate HydroXtreme 9. That does not discredit HydroXtreme 9; it gives magnitudes much more credit to this Optimum Series Automatic Smart Pump. Admittedly it was more than I could take after a few minutes and I know it will be excessive for some persons. I will try to build my tolerance to find how much time it will last before it disables itself. That was not expected. If ever I achieved a true vacuum seal with a pump that was it. The other two programmes accessible via the mode button are more forgiving. I wonder why the less forgiving programme is not accessible with the same button. Without timing each of the two more forgiving programmes I cannot discern amongst them. The pressure feels identical [although I switched from the first to the second for I was impatient and was curious to know the other programme]. The only difference I suspect exists is time. In the second programme the motor decreases pressure and keeps it constant for five minutes I presume it to be. Thereafter vacuum is released for one or two seconds and the operation is repeated twice. Another point of confusion for me is when vacuum is achieved in these two programmes the motor makes a slight noise every five to ten seconds. The only constant noise it makes is when pressure is increased and decreased. I know there is a reason for the slight noise throughout the course and duration of the routine but I know not why. The is another programme completely different. Whilst the other three programmes including the one accessible via the on/off button without active vacuum result in a squeezing sensation identical to the HydroXtreme 9 howbeit without water, this programme results in a squeezing sensation and a strange but satisfactory sucking sensation towards the glans that is seemingly for only three seconds maximum. The squeeze-and-suck is for five seconds approximately, held for three seconds approximately, then vacuum is released for five seconds approximately. This entire process repeated is quite stimulating. Decrease of pressure in this programme is not as much comparative to the two routines accessible via the mode cycle button.

To clean the cylinder and insert I used Bathmate Clean solution. However, I rinsed the sleeve thoroughly with warm water and also the cylinder although I know not if that is bad for the cylinder. It is in the instructions very likely but I cannot read them. I used Bathmate Clean inside of the gelatinous tube after rinsed and mostly dried inside and also outside. The solution made it like new. I did not use Bathmate Clean for the cylinder for I know not the most safe manner by which to clean it considering electronics are contained within. The description on the Calexotics website for this model does not mention water thus I made a mistake likely by rinsing it.

For all whom have read this I hope the review was sufficient. The take-away is I am quite pleased and satisfied with its performance and capabilities although I will not presume for a second that it is more effectual comparative to HydroXtreme 9 at maximum pressure although the one programme seemed to vacuum seal more than I have ever reified with HydroXtreme 9. For less than US$100 an understatement is that it is worthwhile.

After a second time of usage I have discovered what I call the second programme or second routine of pumping exerts noticeably more pressure comparative to the first. This is the routine I used initially. It runs for fifteen minutes approximately for three rounds. The first pumping routine is not adequate for me for the seal is insufficiently tight and pressure is insufficiently strong. The non-pumping routine I used and runs for ten minutes approximately. A travel lock exists I forgot to mention which is activated and deactivated by depressing and holding the on/off button for three seconds after when I hear a faint click. I am confused still about the sequence of programmes and if necessary to press the on/off button before cycling amongst routines and if travel lock affects this once disabled.
