Can I use the X4 labs extender?

After reading many reviews on this site and others, I placed an order for the X4 labs extender “starter” pack, which I received today. I know it’s rather basic, but I have a gift voucher which will enable me to buy further rods. My EQ, on a good day, is 6.1-.2 NBPEL, and I’m aiming for 7-7.5. I aim to attain such an increase, within the space of a year, so as to make it more realistic and minimise any losses. It does seem to be the case that extenders are quite good at extending length. But I am also aware that such gains are quite cumbersome. One should ultimately wear it for 6-8 hours a day. This will probably be feasible given that I am on a year long vacation, giving me plenty of time.

However, I am a grower. My flaccid length is around 2.5- 3 inches, which is something I hope that the extender will help lengthen. I know that the device will be able to accommodate it, but for over 2 weeks now, my flaccid state has become a lot harder, and a lot more sensitive to the touch. I suspect this has arisen due to my abstinence from masturbation ( I used to do it 4-5 times a day), as well as stress/ anxiety, and a lack of proper sleep. I’ve started to do kegels, since Wednesday, but admittedly I’m not dedicated to it. So I do need to do them properly, and for a prolonged period of time.

I’m worried that I will not be able to use the device properly, because of my current flaccid state. Is there any way of working around it? Thanks
