Can jelq give thickness?

I’m quite a noobie and don’t know much, so would like to ask about my situation.
My starting stats were about 7.5-7.7 BPEL, and I could stretch that for another 0.4in. After that I did this routine for few months:
0-10 minutes heating.
20 jelqs, 5-10 short stretches in one direction, 1 stretch for about 15-30 seconds.
Repeat 4-6 more times, but with different stretch angles.
Now my BPEL is 8-8.1 inches, I still can stretch for additional 0.4 inches. Without doubt I gained. The problem is, I don’t really need length and my girth is same 5.5 inches. I didn’t gain even 0.1, despite I’m doing 90-100% erection jelqs. Last few years I did very intense masturbation. I don’t even feel any fatigue from jelqs. It’s like I can do that routine 2-3 times per day without any problem (but I try to do once per day and take 1 day off). Basically, even 100 intense jelqs feels more like warm-up for me. Should I increase intensity? Can it be hard for me to gain girth? Maybe I already somehow pushed that or it’s such from nature. I actually have few signs. For example, I have discoloration. Also if I kegel or horny enough to get like 110-120% erection when dick is harder than rock, that’s still around same size, only harder.
Should I change routine? Focus more on heating, focus more on clamping or something else? Maybe any test to check where is problem.
