Can kegels ruin EQ?

I just started with jelqing and the linear newbie routine last week, however I increased the amount of jelqs by the day, watching my PI’s. I do no stretches. My first 4 sessions went 20, 30, 40 and 60 reps respectively, with at least 10 minutes of warm-ups and -downs each. After the 60 rep day, my EQ was slightly worse than normal, like 70%, but my erection still was there, so I paused for two days, yesterday and the day before.
Yesterday I did kegels for the first time in a while, because my morning erections weren’t as firm as usual and I did not experience noticeable erections during the night as I usually do. Today, I went to test my EQ, but other than sitting of kneeling, my EQ is just bad and it doesn’t get firm standing. Also, I feel a tightness in my perineum.
I experienced this once exactly like now, when I did the Angion Method a few months earlier. Back then I, too, felt a tightness in my perineum and didn’t achieve an erection standing upright. I paused back then (only IC-training and pelvic stretches), my EQ got good again, started AM again for two 1-2 min sessions and the EQ worsened again, so I stopped AM entirely. This resolved the EQ problems again.
Now I’ll do a pause until my sergeant is standing attention again and start jelqing without any kegels, to see what the culprit is. I like jelqs, because I had more hang after the 60 rep session, as well. Just full and plump most of the time.
I can imagine that AM tightened my BC muscle automatically and ruined my erection that way. I also can imagine, that I still get morning wood currently, because the BC is less tense when sleeping, but still subpar because of cramping. But I can also imagine, that I am one of those people that are anatomically not fit to do PE, given my experiences with AM.
Are my EQ issues likely due to kegels and a tight pelvic floor, due to (too many reps of) jelqing or a combination of both? Are these known issues?
Also, if it’s due to jelqing and anatomical issues, are there methods that are known to be less damaging, like pumping and such? I don’t want hangers, because I am going for girth, not length.
