Can Pumping Hurt A Persons Ability To Get Erections

I am new to pumping and I was wondering if pumping can cause me to lose my natural ability to attain and hold an erection?

If you over do anything it can affect your erection ability. If used with common sense (not over-doing-it) it can lead to a beneficial tool.

No, if you do it right. If you pump at very high vacuum (7-10 in Hg +) or go for long sets (20 min +), then lots of bad things can happen. Pumping in general is very safe.

Is the same true with jelqing? It will not affect my ability to get erections and stay hard hard?

The newbie program (jelq + stretch) is designed to minimize the risk of injury for a beginner. So chances are small you will run into problems. I haven’t heard of anyone getting permanent erection problems doing newbie routine.

But, you may experience temporary inability to get erections while your unit is adjusting to the exercises.

I think it’s very individual. I started really slowly (see my progress report and another thread) and still got weak erections for the next 2 days every time I pumped, even if I only did a few minutes.
