Hi, I have a question. Can the girth of a semirect penis can be bigger to the girth of the same penis when it is 100% erect?. I think this is happening to me. Can this happen?

Some guys reported their morning wood to be very hard but with smaller girth than other erections,myself included.
Regarding semi erect girth vs erect girth, I sometimes feel that by going erect the penis “tightens” meanwhile the penis in semi erect state is more expandable/spongy . Also some pumpers recommend going into pump semi erect as it allows greater expansion.

I’ve noticed since starting PE that my penis girth in a semi erect state is larger than when fully erect. I have no explanation as to why this is, but hopefully it its a sign of future gains.
The penis is a tube that stretches as internal pressure increases causing such fluctuations.
My length decreases slightly when I’m 110% erect.
Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.
As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.
Going for the magic 8"x6"
