Can using an extender or ADS cause gangrene of the penis

Just curious if using an extender or ADS can cause gangrene of the penis, I read somewhere that it could because they restrict circulation to the glans, anyone ever heard of any cases of this happening? Could this happen even if you take a break every hour or 2 to let blood flow normally as is recommended or would this only happen if you went overboard like using it for 12 hours straight with no break or sleeping with it on all night?

Improper using an extender can cause severe damage to your penis; this can happens mostly with noose-style extenders, if :

a) too much tension is used;
b) too much time without pause the device is used (breaks every 10 minutes are advised for beginners);
c) bodily signals are ignored.

However, the newbie routine gives faster results to beginners than using any kind of devices; you can use extenders (or pumps or whatever) later, if you’ll want and/or will need.

Hi Marinera, what exactly are these bodily signals? From reading posts a common almost expected side effect and sign for taking a break is the glans getting cold and blue or purple. So if my glans got cold and blue but I took a break and it reverted to normal before resuming would I be ok or should I avoid this at all costs?

You take a break before your glans becomes cold and blue. However, if your glans became cold an blue just one time, and you are not having any simptoms that something isn’t going normally in your penis you have nothing to worry about. Just curious: what’s the device you are using (or used)?
