Can't get a grip...

I’m a newbie (bet you didn’t expect that one!) and new to all this PE stuff. However I’ve tried it a few times but to no avail. I can’t keep a grip on my penis and stretch at the same time. Soon my fingers start to really hurt, and I have to give up. I’ve tried using paper towels but they just made me sore :(

Also I find that if I stretch I end up getting erect, and my dick doesn’t want to stretch when its hard. I’m uncut by the way.

Talcum (baby) powder. If you can stand the smell, it really improves a grip.

While stretching go to a web site of facts or other boring information and read it while stretching or watch TV (non porn) and get into the show. Take your mind off what your hands are doing. Most newbies (myself included) experience erections from handling their penis in the beginning. You’ll get used to it with time.

It doesn’t hurt to ejaculate before a stretching session (for jelqing its best to wait till later) in fact I get a better stretch that way. Talcum, or latex exam gloves have worked well for me.

Not that it’s boring, but I like to read through the forum here while stretching. Takes my mind off everything, so I can stay flaccid for a good stretch.

btw, I sometimes listen to talk radio while stretching.

I would ejaculate before stretching, but the thing is after ejaculation I just lose any interest in my genitalia whatsoever, so its gonna be quite a chore :P

Have your hormone levels checked. If nothing else you should be able to make a clinical decision that this is an optimal time to stretch and follow through.

Your fingers ...

will get stronger. My hands used to cramp after a minute or two of holding a stretch but now I can hold it for much longer with no problems.

Its all conditioning. Your body will adapt to stress, be it your end or your hands. Should see what years worth of sit ups and sparring can do for you ;)
