Chapped meatus and flared corona

Chapped meatus and flared corona

Yes I had to research to find out what the technical terms were of the parts affected from dry pumping. I been fully dry pumping for the last 3 weeks, having a good routine and groove.

Only thing I notice is the meatus after two 30min back to back pumps, gets a bit discolored and flared, perhaps from the pressure.

Same thing with the corona, it flares as it had gotten pulled away from the body due to vaccuum pressure.

Sometimes the corona touches on the wall of the cylinder as well.

I can feel the issue with the meatus when I urinate after a session, it slightly burns.

Does anyone get these symptoms? I’ve checked threads and I don’t see any reports.

But I’ve no blisters nor red spots anywhere. Pumping at about a 5 to 6, sometimes it dips to 3-4 a bit, but mosty watch the gauge to keep at 5.

What I’ve improved on minimizing is the donut affect in recent weeks.

I’m not sure if you mean pumping with air instead of water when you say dry pumping, or if you do not use lube. I always lube up before a pumping session. It helps ease tissue expansion and helps my glans and shaft to slide in the cylinder.

I have gotten discoloration when I was regularly pumping at 10 inHg, and it has gotten better now that I’m going for longer duration and lower pressure (5 inHg). I may have had a slight burn a time or two, but very infrequently.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

The glaring of the meatus is something I experience as well when doing pressure exercises, whether via vacuum or by manipulating internal blood flow via jelquing etc.
Its actually edema of the urethra. It’s a sign that you’ve done too much. It isn’t necessarily dangerous or an actual injury, but it does indicate that you’re exerting enough pressure to force blood derived fluid (lymph) into the interstitum which is in excess of the goal of causing vascular distention.

Edema of the corona is for the same reason, but just less likely to cause you discomfort.

Try reducing either the pressure or duration of pumping till you don’t get edema and then gradually increase over time from there.

Sorry about that, for me, dry = air pumping.

10imHg before you get discoloration? Wow. By discoloration did you mean discoloration like general glans no longer pink/red during time in the cylinder but for which can reverse within minutes ofter the removal from the cylinder?

How long of a duration are you going for now at 5 imHG?

I’m doing 30min, 2 back to back.

Thank you for this thoughtful explanation. As I mentioend I had not come across any discussion about this.

Well, I guess I was recently encouraged with a good many posts with 30min sessions I’d been trying it.

I think these symptoms happen for me when I have a rather flaccid session going in.

I’m doing 30min, 2 back to back.

When I first started pumping I was going 10 min twice a day at 10inHg. My shaft and glans would darken to a dark red or purplish while in the tube. Initially it would clear up to original skin tone when I got out of the cylinder. Slowly over time though my shaft started staying a little darker until it was noticeably darker all the time.

Others have written about this and also suggested ways to reduce the discoloration.

Somewhere along the way I changed my routine to 30 min duration at 5inHg, for twice a day. I’m not always successful getting on the full 30 min though. I also generally finish the last couple minutes at 10inHg.
