Hi guys, great forum you guys got here, I started hanging about 2 weeks ago, and I have a few comments on my routine to help me along the way and have a few question, if I can get some help on.
All that I’m doing now is hanging 5lb, 20 min sets, as much as I can a week, sometimes 2+ hours a day, at least 5 times a week, and I’m not good on the PE terms, but I hanging BTC, it seems to be the most comfortable, using my captain wrench device :) . I was wondering if I should also start to hang in other positions now, or wait until I start to see gains from my current routine, some of the other position I know are over left/right leg, and a upside-down hanging, though I haven’t figured out how I would do that yet…probably have to do something to my desk, any ideas? I was thinking about a hook of some sort, I’m far from creative.
Also I also own a power jelq device, only use now I have for it is in between hanging sessions, also wondering if I should hold off on jelqing since I read alot of people says its easier to gain length first then go for girth.
And also 1 last question is, sometimes I can hang 5lb for a few sets, then it becomes a little uncomfortable so I move it down to a 3lb, and do some more sets, do you think I should stay on 5lb or its ok to pyramid the wieght, kinda like body building.
I would have posted this in the hangers forum but it won’t let me, also I’m on 28k speed dial up so it takes a while to search through all this, I think I have got my stuff figured out, but I’m still very new to this so any advice would help along.
I’m 5.5” by 4.75” hoping to get as much as I can out of my little guy, maybe 9”x6”….I can only wish at the moment :( . Thanks guys
