Consensus on Size Surveys

Probably been doen to death, but here goes:

The most commonly referenced penis size surveys seem to come in two groups: those that huddle around a 6 1/4” average and those around a 5 1/4 inch average. In your expert opinion, what is the most likely reason for this? Is it that one group is self measured and the other “professionally” measured or is one group likely bone pressed and the other non-bone pressed? Or, are all of them just a bunch of mularkey?

It is interesting that girth is much more consistent (just shy of 5 inches) and that the range of measured sizes much narrower (very few under 4 3/4” adn very few over 5 /14”). It is apparently a much easier measurement to take accurately.

I am no expert since the only dick I measured was my own, but I think you are absolutely right. BP average is a little bit over 6” and NBP - 5”. Measurements taken by professionals are real NBP. Self measurement studies have a bias because men tend to press rulers too hard to get a better reading, even if instructed not to do that. Girth averages are consistent because there is no fat-pad issue.

The average fatpad is about 1+”. The 5 1/4” is nbp and the 6 1/4 is bp. Some surveys are bp and some are nbp. Some are self measured and some are staff measured. Yes, it has been studied in many threads at Thunder’s trying to get to the bottom of it all. It gets mixed reviews and all it can do is give us an idea. A staff measured comprehensive survey has not been done worldwide.

Caucasian average is 6.3 , human average at least in US is around 6.0. I have never seen 5 1/4 except for the Asian average which is 4.0-5.5. Oddly, a HUGE variation for an average. Girth has been shown to be more around 4.85 ish for humans as a whole. Even less for asian reportedly 4.23-4.7 girth Korean study. I have to wonder though how well sampled the asian one is. If i were to be compare to 5.5, I’d be considered like 7.67 caucasian length wise :P and to 4.0 , I’d be 10.55, holy mackerel! I’ve yet to see any real study on Thai men averages. Note one chinese guy on that board reported his cousin at 8.5” length. Again i want some real stats on this though, picture and scaled measurement.

If i were to compare myself to 4.23 on versus a caucasian on caucasian average of 5.0, I’d be 6.38, to 4.7 , i’d be 5.74. I don’t limit myself to just women who only sleep with asian men so i have to compare directly to other human beings in the world. :/

I might be doing the asian race a disservice by mentioning these figures but surveys are surveys and they all are limited by their sample group. Asian average needs more studies.

I’ve always wondered about the reported difference between BP and NPB, as I am only 1/4” different between the two. While no Jack Sprat, I guess I am lucky that most of my unit is available and ready for duty.

One thing I know for sure is that none of the scientific surveys (Kinsey, Durex, etc.) ever used BP measurements.

They always explain how the measurements were taken and they measure on top of the penis, from the tip of the penis to the emplacement where the penis meets the skin of the pubis. I don’t want to discourage nobody, but this is certainly the way to measure that gives the shortest measurements.

So average nbpel is definitely not 5 1/4 inches, but a lot more likely to be over 6 inches.
